Beautiful, elegant hotel near Corfu Town center.

A beautiful hotel the overlooks the ocean. The room was spacious, clean and elegantly decorated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very close to Old Town center, but tucked away so that it was quiet at night. I would highly recommend staying here.

Worth considering for sure

It is new on the accom. market and a wonderful addition.Really well situated and an extremely helpful host who was a real ‘angel’.Nothing was a problem and we had the greatest assistance provided.A general strike was looming and we would have had significant transport problems.Our host gave good guidance and took some pressure of us.Thoroughly recommend the property.

Really enjoyable - wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Location was excellent for accessing the town. The bedrooms were stylish and comfortable. The staff were great. The breakfast was perfectly adequate. The bar was good with a fine selection of wines - because we stayed late on in the season it closed at 1600 but plenty of other bars around.

Given the restrictions of its site it is difficult to see how they could improve the downstairs areas.

The room was beautiful in a lovely hotel well located in the centre of Corfu Town. The staff were truly exceptional and made the stay a real pleasure.

Beautiful accommodation- would definitely recommend.

The property itself is stunning, externally fitting for the location, internally super beautiful and modern. The room size was great and the views were exceptional. Rarely do we find accommodation which suits our family of 3 in Corfu, where the sofa bed is big enough for a teen, but this one was fantastic and super comfy!

I’d have to be really picky. The lights which light up the building externally made our room too light. We are light sleepers. The neighbours rooms doors slamming repeatedly between 11pm and 1am. This accommodation is probably less suited to people with children. 3 flights of spiral staircase with a 26kg suitcase also not ideal.

Gorgeous new hotel

Loved the hotel, really modern and clean and obviously freshly renovated but to an amazing quality. We had a deluxe sea view room with a balcony and it was beautiful, the view of the sea and sunrise was amazing. Staff were really pleasant and helpful and the cleaner also left the room pristine. Toiletries were also gorgeous. It is an expensive hotel and more of a treat but really recommend, it’s a lovely area. Although looking over partly in a car park it’s still really private and quiet. The wine bar downstairs is really nice, it’s very quiet so not too much of an atmosphere but wines are really nice and hopefully when more people know about it then it will be busier.

We had a lovely sea view / superior room . It was perfect , large , clean , excellent AC.

A tiny issue is that this room only has a bath , there is a shower attachment but this makes washing your hair a bit difficult .

the hotel is in a superb location right in the best area of the old town walking distance to main sites and the best swim in the sea Design and atmosphere beautiful Body and hair wash are wonderful Staff is very nice and helpful Croissants & coffee in the morning are complimentary and the best ever

Beautiful building, modern and stylish.

No internet (and no connection- very little coverage on that area) the entire time I was there which was a challenge to organise departure. No staff on hand to address this from evening until morning.

We stayed at The Calliston for a long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a modern hotel with great facilities, including in-room coffee and tea-making amenities and a mini fridge stocked with refreshments. The bathroom was clean and featured a very nice shower unit. The location is perfect—easily accessible by taxi, almost to the front door. The complimentary coffee and croissant for breakfast was a lovely touch. The staff were amazing—extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. The property itself is beautifully restored to a very high standard.

While the room was well-appointed, storage space was quite limited, so a longer stay with more luggage might be a bit challenging.

Modern, clean, lovely helpful staff, great position , 5 minute walk from Old Corfu town, 2 min walk to Faliraki Beach, and Imbaru beach club, walking distance to the port….nice little bar area , complimentary coffee and croissant , absolutely fantastic place to stay

Very modern, fantastic room, beautifully designed with very high tech. Touch pad to control light, opening of curtains, temperature etc. Spotlessly clean, amazing view from balcony across the sea, right in the heart of town. I can’t believe how good it was for what we paid, will definitely be back.

Only thing it’s missing is a lift but this wasn’t an issue as the manager was very helpful and carried our case up to our room. Maybe if mobility is an issue the stairs may be a problem but for everyone else this is a gem.

Nearly perfect but not quite there yet.

Cleanliness, helpfulness of staff, view from room (Junior Suite), balcony.

The low frequency thump coming from the background music in the bar. This was irritating and probably caused by the speakers being fixing to the ceiling. Personally, I’d like to have seen a bit less spent on sophisticated lighting and electric curtain and a little more on sound insulation. Next time we’ll book a higher room perhaps to the third or fourth floor or at the back of the hotel.

A night of luxury!

We wanted a last night of luxury to end our holiday in Corfu and Paxos and we certainly got it! Our room had a sea view and was light and airy. The huge bed was very comfortable and we soon got used to the control panel for lights and electric closing of the curtains. Super modern bathroom and enjoyed the bath. Staff were friendly, professional and helpful - helped us old folk print out boarding passes, carried our luggage upstairs. etc. There is a taverna "Mouragia" just around the corner overlooking the sea where we had a delicious dinner - recommend reserving a table in advance. The hotel is ideally situated - short walk into town.The Calliston is not cheap but value for money and super for a special stay. We'd love to return for longer!

Amazing value for money.

A lovely hotel nestled just outside the beautiful old town, a short 5 minute walk away. Rooms were superb, very modern with nice finishing touches and the view from the balcony was incredible. Nadia was very pleasant, so welcoming and chatty and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay just on the edge of a busy city. Would definitely return on our next trip to Corfu.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay

Brand new, gorgeously appointed with all the mod cons but all that pales into insignificance in the face of the warmth and kindness of the staff, nothing is too much trouble, it’s 5* service. The food light bites available in the evening show some serious skill in the kitchen, beautifully plated and with genuine deftness in both flavour and texture, and the wines were sensational and talked about with knowledge and passion.

Just be aware that if you have large bags, there isn’t a lift but staff are more than willing to help.

Excellent two night stay in this new hotel

Stylish. Located away from the highly touristic area of Corfu Town but only a five minute walk to good restaurants and bars. The large bed was extremely comfortable. Space around the bed was limited but there was an area to hang/place clothing. Nespresso coffee machine with a supply of capsules was welcome. Well stocked fridge/minibar. The shower was brilliant. Good towels and toiletries. Breakfast is limited - very good coffee but only a single croissant. Sufficient to start the day. The hotel staff are very attentive, helpful and friendly. There is a wine bar in the ground floor within the hotel building which appears to be operated by a separate business. The bar was a huge choice of Greek wines, some really excellent. There is a food menu although we did not try it. I strongly recommend this hotel.

A perfect stay in Corfu

My stay at The Calliston was wonderful in every way!!! The location is incredible, and the hotel has everything you need! Most importantly every single staff member was so kind and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful stay. I would choose to stay here every time I visit Corfu!

Excellent séjour !

La chambre était très spacieuse avec un balcon donnant sur la mer. Les lits sont grands, très confortables. Les équipements étaient de qualité avec de beaux matériaux. La chambre divinement propre. Pas de clé juste un code pour entrer dans la chambre. Par ailleurs, l'hôtel est bien situé, le personnel très serviable, très agréable. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

La douche à l'italienne mériterait un meilleur réglage. En effet, à chaque fois, nous avions de l'eau qui coulait du haut..... Entrer dans la chambre avec les lumières qui s'allument automatiquement est un peu " too much". Quant aux doubles-rideaux, ils se ferment tous en pressant un seul bouton : c'est agréable mais ennuyeux lorsque l'on ne souhaite pas que tous les rideaux se ferment. Le petit déjeuner est un peu léger mais nous avons compris que l'hôtel venait d'ouvrir et qu'il était encore un rodage dans ce domaine.
