Very under awed and level of inconviences caused would suggest a partial refund

The location

Very difficult to find on arrival at night bathroom had bad odour and sink did not drain easily . No lighting on stairwell or internet connection on last night . No response to WhatsApp requests

Nice people, great location, comfy bed

Ants, big cockroaches, damp smell, minimal street noise insulation (balcony doors) & lots of stairs. I rarely write reviews but thought I should in this case. We were hoping for a considerably better experience. The large cockroaches were quite a shock.

Comfortable stay.

The location was centrally located to everything we wanted and met our needs. We only stayed 3 days due to our needs changing at the last minute. We would stay again!

We only had two rolls toilet paper to last 3 days. No wash clothes available and when we did find someone she did not understand what one was.

Modern convenience sums it all up.

The room was well-equipped (hangers, wardrobe, iron, kitchen, utensils, fridge, freezer, bathroom, towels, bedsheets, hairdryer, table, desk, chairs, nightstands) and recently renovated. The central location of the building makes it an ideal value-for-money choice in Corfu.

The TV set could include regular or satellite channels besides connection to online platforms.

Great spot for a night or two

Good apartment space and convenient to the old town. Very comfortable bed

It was a quiet location, close to supermarket and handy for wandering around the old town. Host was helpful and friendly.

It was ok for us, but the hill to get there was very steep so it might be a struggle if you have mobility issues.

Excellent location - sights, transport, shops, laundromat and food markets all nearby. Good sized apartment with handy balcony in a nice neighbourhood. Good value for money.

Reasonable apartment in a great central location

Great location in the middle of the old town, but off the busy streets, so not too noisy. The room was compact and up two flights of steps. The room has air-conditioning and a small balcony with a table and two fold-up chairs. It is reasonably modern. The kitchenette is simple, but has everything you need for a few days. Appreciated the two water bottles on arrival. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

There was a regular buzzing noise from some kind of water pump all day and night, which was a bit annoying. The balcony doors do not close tightly, so some noise from the street comes into the room. There was often a smell in the bathroom from the drains and the sink did not drain properly.

Beyond overpriced for the room size. They had the audacity to charge guests for fresh towels and toilet paper!!

Location was good.

Directions of property very difficult. Had to walk to property as cars not permitted in Old Town.Had to call host 3 times to find it. We should have been met by the host. Property was smaller than the photos. Tiles in bathroom missing. Only one roll of toilet paper. Nowhere to hang towels in bathroom. Shower screen inadequate. Water flooding bathroom from shower. There was a small terrace but no provisions to drying clothes. Accomodation could be great with some attention to functionality.

Bad choice

Amazing location, renovated room

I made a request for twin beds and I received a message saying that it was granted. Then I called to ask if we could leave our luggage at the hotel and come back later, as we arrived early in the morning and we didn’t wat to carry the luggage around. The told me yes and everything was ok. At 6pm we arrived at the hotel to get our luggage and go to the room. Nobody was there, so we called and a lady came after 20 mins and couldn’t open the door, so we waited another 20 mins for the manager to come. When she came, we took our luggage and when we went to the room it was occupied and she told us that it was not our lucky day and offered us a room with a double bed. We were fine with that but there was a lot of confusion for something simple. It was really disappointing. The room was not very clean either and the shower poorly designed.

Great location for independent travellers

Excellent location in the heart of the pedestrianised Old Town. Handy for transport links to the whole of the rest of the island.Not a huge space, but all the essentials in place- very comfortable bed, good aircon, constant hot water, little balcony. Ideal for a couple who plan to be out and about all day.

Great location in old town Corfu City. Room had a mini kitchen do you could do some simple self-catering. Appeared to be recently remodeled so fresh clean look.

Stairs and location on a steep street could be an issue for those with mobility issues.

Plumbing problems

Plumbing problem in kitchen. Kitchen sink drainage was not connected properly, and looked like an not a new problem. Earlier when i asked to extend my stay and requested for lower floor ( before plumbing problem started), i was told the lower floor rooms have plumbing problems. I did extend my booking via booking.com and after that the plumbing problems started. So i cancelled my booking immediately but was charged full cancellation fee. Yes, i should know the cancellation policy, but under circumstances, the fee should have been waived.

Pleasant

Great location and very comfy beds but a bit disappointed overall of the hygiene (hair and dirt in shower, fungus on bathroom tiles, not freshly clean smelling towels) the tiny bathroom (being quite tall I bumped into almost everything) and the cigarette smell that came into the room in the morning (cleaner?). So overall not good value for money.

I would not stay here again.

we asked to book a taxi the day before and we have been said it wasn’t possible and given a number to call. they could just have called the taxi services for us really. too many spammy messages that we eventually missed important info

The location is right in the heart of Corfu Old Town, is also really near to the most important bus stops. The room was great - everything what we needed was there, even Netflix account from the hotel.

There's no elevator - but is still manageable.
