Excellent location right in the middle of Corfu Town. The host was amazing and did his very best to make my trip as smooth as possible, helping with travel plans etc. He even took some of us to the Easter celebrations and showed us the best place to view the fireworks!
I think the host was doing a lot of work to the property so it is not the most organised place! The layout is a bit odd and you have to go through rooms to get to the bathroom (although there is a bathroom on the ground floor). There are normal beds instead of bunks so not a lot of privacy but fine if you're out all day.

What can I say, it is the cheapest option to stay in Corfu town and the pictures aren't promising too much, so at least you know what you're getting into. The location is good, walking distance to the buses and down town, not too noisy. Easy self check-in at any time and directions on how to find it are being sent beforehand. While it's sold as a dorm, the beds are spread across the rooms and could be considered single/double rooms.
The price is still way too high for what is being offered. The house is in a desolate condition. I would even say the fact that everything is antique could be a selling point if it was being looked after, but it's just in a very poor state and quite dirty. Many of the "rooms" will have to be walked through by other guests to get to their rooms or to the bathroom. I only met the host once and he was nice, offering me water and a place to leave my bag on my last day, but I can understand how some women haven't felt safe, it was in extreme heat, but seeing your host shirtless is something to get used to and the big boxes of extra large tampons or pads, intimate wash lotion etc. seemed strange to me.
