Tranquil and very relaxing.
Beautiful garden, very well maintained and nice and peaceful. Perfect place to unwind and relax. Very close to all amenities, supermarket, restaurants and beach etc. room 5 was a wonderful suite with a private balcony. And lovely view of the gardens. Towels changed daily and maids come in everyday, except Sundays. Excellent service from all staff.
Nothing we didn’t like (apart from mosquitoes) but maybe a few points to make people’s stays even better.
Some sort of information booklet in the room to advise where local amenities are, as if you haven’t been to the area before it can be a bit daunting, especially when your not met by anyone on arrival to advise.
Maybe a few bins around the pool area.

Very nice and spacious garden with a pool and a sufficient amount of sunbeds. The host named Kosta is an amazing guy and he was always available to help us when needed. Corfu City is a nice place and relitively close to the accommodation. A cleaning lady comes every day and provides new towels.
Location of the accommodation is OK, the road to the nearby town Gouvia is not very comfortable for pedestrians, so you’ll probably need to hire a car or scooter to get around. But once you have access to a vehicle the accommodation is well situated to get around the island.
We stayed in room no. 3 which was a bit small and it unfortunately had no garden view.
The room was clean but a little bit outdated. Also the beds are really short in lenght, anyone taller than 1.90m will have their leg sticking out of the bed substantially.

Perfect.
The Manager greeted us personally. Nothing was too much trouble and he was very welcoming. The location was ideal. Close to Gouvia and the supermarket, but a peaceful and beautiful location. The room was clean and the beds were made daily and towels were changed every other day. The Manager very kindly drove us with all our luggage to the accommodation we had booked after our stay at Isabella. This was over and above the service I expected. I would not hesitate to go back to Isabella Country House.
Nothing springs to mind. An altogether positive experience.

I booked this place very last minute for 2 days. when I arrived I was greeted very nice and was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the gardens are. the place is extremely well maintained, the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. the rooms are very large, clean and most importantly the bed is huge and super comfortable. the manager couldn’t do more to help with anything. especially one morning the breakfast they did for us was 10/10. would highly recommend this place.

Superb
We almost didn't want to write this fantastic review, because we wanted to keep this gem to ourselves 😉. Fantastic location to discover Corfu by car from, also lots of good restaurants on walking distance in the centre of Gouvia. The beautiful garden can compete with the fantastic beaches of Corfu. When you will have breakfast in the morning on the patio overlooking the garden you will understand how beautiful it is. And the clean, deep enough swimming pool is the cherry on top. The rooms are very cosy and are sparkling clean, fresh towels are provided daily. The host and manager Kostas was always ready to help and give recommendations and overall a very warm, easy going and welcoming person.
Nothing comes to mind. If I would note something is that Gouvia itself it's not the most beautiful and pitoresk town and beach. But it holds lots of nice restaurants!

Happy and relaxing
This is the fourth time I have stayed at Isabella Country House. It's just fabulous. The manager, the cleaners, the maintenance staff are so friendly and efficient. The gardens and pool are such a joy to be in.

Garden and pool were outstanding and a lovely apartment.
Have been use to these days to having the basics available in self catering apartment i.e coffee / tea / oil/ salt & pepper etc. There was tea/coffee when we arrived but not replenished.

Lovely country house with very nice pool and garden.
Amazing country house, well looked-after, cozy and calm environment. Clean rooms, very nice pool and garden, lovely porch outside our room. Near one of the main streets with access to beaches nearby. Konstantinos the receptionist was helpful and polite, sorted everything out and was discreetly looking after us during our stay.
The Wi-Fi/broadband could have been better. No TV reception unfortunately.

Lovely place
Beautiful villa with independent appartments in Gouvia (10 min ride to Corfu town, there are also public buses). Rooms were clean, comfortable beds. Room service cleaned the room every day. The villa has a lovely garden with a nice swimming pool. There is free parking inside the villa.
You can have a very complete breakfast (coffee, cereals, fruit, bread, butter, marmelade, eggs) for 12€.
The manager Kostas was super friendly and helped us with any problem we had. He even got us a rental car for a good price.
Would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning to move around the island with motorbike or car.

Wonderful place to stay. We will be back
The grounds are lovely, well kept and in spring, there are lots of flowers and birds. The pool is about 10m long, but quite deep. In mid June it is a comfortable place to swim on a warm day. Good quality sun loungers and parasols are available for use, as are 2 tables and chairs under shade awnings.
Each room/studio appears to be unique, some having a lounge area, others a balcony and some a patio or terrace. Ours was perfect for a couple without children, as it had a large bed, which was very comfortable, a dressing table/desk and an armchair. The balcony had a solid table, 2 chairs and a bed settee. We requested a sunbed and this was supplied immediately. There is also a clothes airer.
Our studio had a nice little kitchenette with a halogen 2 plate hot plate and a microwave. There was also an under the counter fridge, kettle and coffee maker. Plates, cutlery and pans were all supplied. The bathroom was fine and the shower was very powerful if switched on full. The bathroom could have done with a shelf or cabinet for guests like ourselves, who stay a bit longer. We solved this by using one of the small pine tables from the bedroom to put our stuff that we used daily on.
The view from the balcony was of the grounds and hills and mountains in the distance. It is very peaceful and we slept most nights with the balcony doors (and shutters) open, which was lovely.
The property is reached from a small country road but has a large electric security gate and CCTV and we saw/heard no evidence of any issues of the sort you might get if the property were in the centre of a resort town. This is one of the reasons we selected Isabella Country house.
The manager was most helpful in providing information after we booked but before we arrived. He continued to be helpful right up to our departure when he printed our passenger locator forms required for flying during Covid.
The property owner was friendly and helpful, making this one of our best holidays, ever.
Although the rooms are non-smoking one other set of guests smoked on their balcony, and we got the "benefit" of their smoke. Unfortunately the culture of smoking is still well embedded in Corfu, generally.

Excelent appartments, the lady who runs the property was extremely helpful and friendly, she even gave us her private mobile number if we encountered any problems on our trip to corfu town, We had the pool to ourselves most of the time and there are enough sunbeds for all the guests in the appartments,

La chambre que je trouve un peu trop surchargée en meuble, et un petit coup de rénovation pour la déco, qui se veut dans le style corfiote, mais je préfère les décorations un peu modernes ( ceci dit, chacun ses goûts)

La distanza dall’aeroporto e da porto di Corfù. Il costo per il trasferente per due persone dall’aeroporto €40. Dalla struttura al porto €30. Per raggiungere la struttura a piedi e’ pericolosissimo, strada buia e irta. Non abbiamo potuto cenare perché i ristoranti distano circa 3km, bisognava percorrere strada buia e ripida

Lo mejor es el precioso y cuidado jardín y la piscina.
Es una propiedad cuidada con mimo. Mantienes la intimidad de una casa pero con servicio de limpieza y cambio de sábanas y toallas, además proporcionan toallas para la piscina.
En nuestro caso viajamos en familia con una niña de 7 y no reservamos con mucha antelación , así que lo que estaba disponible era una suite junior, que está muy bien (estuvimos 5 días), pero para estancias más largas sería ideal un apartamento más grande.
La ubicación está bien, a una distancia asequible de Corfu ciudad y de las playas de la zona éste (que no son las mejores), pero también se puede ir sin problema a la zona de Paleokastrizia.
Lo mejor es llegar después de un largo día de turismo por la isla y relajarte en la piscina y el jardín.
Si volvemos a Corfu, repetiríamos sin duda.
El Wi-Fi no funcionó adecuadamente, aunque Konstantinos hace todo lo posible por mejorarlo con las compañías disponibles.
Tienen servicio de lavandería de pago aunque no lo usamos.
Sin duda volveremos porque nos encantó todas las instalaciones, el recinto, el host muy atento y la ubicación cerca de la playa y de un supermercado.

Kleinschalig, rustig pension, een klein paradijsje in een heel mooie verzorgde tuin met prachtig zwembad. Verzorgd complex met vriendelijke manager en personeel. Mogelijkheid tot ontbijt. Parkeerplaatsen voor het pension. Prima ligging. Heel proper. Bijna dagelijks opkuis in het verblijf met opmaak van de bedden en handdoekenwissel. Airco. Dicht bij supermarkt en de zee. Goed bereikbaar en dicht bij de hoofdstad en de luchthaven. Goede wegen ernaar toe.
