Basic but clean, great location
Property was kept clean and was in a great location. Short walk to the pool and 1km away from beautiful Gouvia bay. Set in nice surroundings. Really comfortable beds! Reception staff were really helpful.
Mezzanine area was really cramped. It was basic and dated. Staff at the restaurant by the pool were a bit hit and miss (mostly miss!).

Decent budget accommodation
Although the rooms were basic, they had everything that you needed, good a/c, bathroom ok, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and hob. Rooms cleaned everyday except Sunday and towels/sheets replaced every 2 days. Swimming pool clean and a decent size. Pool bar was fine. Friendly staff and reception ladies very helpful.
On first few days, not many sun beds around the pool, although that increased later in the week. Not many umbrellas for shade available

Excellent staff especially Sofia. Very clean rooms and linens are changed daily.
The best thing about this property is Sofia in reception. She is a delightful lady who made us very welcome. She is a huge asset to the hotel and is exceedingly helpful.
The smell of raw sewage at the water’s edge is deplorable! There is a stream of raw sewage going to the sea on the left hand side of this property and it unacceptable in 2025.

Helion Resort Gouvia
Apartments are set out in individual blocks in beautiful gardens. Pool area, bar & grounds spotless. Apartments cleaned daily except Sundays. Towels & Bed Linen changed every 2nd day. Reception staff really friendly & helpful. Bus stop right outside complex €2 to Corfu Town or Ipsos Beach in other direction
If you're a Beach person Gouvia Beach not great but would recommend Ipsos or Barbati which are short bus rises

Wonderful apartment in a well maintained compound.
Wonderful apartment in a well maintained compound. We loved the clean rooms, the regular towel and bedding change, the silent air-conditioner, the large terrace. The swimming pool is also very nice and the bar next to it is great.
Our livingroom did not have a sofa. For sitting, they set up two rattan armchairs, not enough for a large apartment with 3-4 occupants.
