Worth the price and totally comfortable

The location is a bit far from the city center and there’s nothing to see around. But the local bus comes just near the hotel.

Perfect for a short Salzburg break at Christmas

Great family run hotel on the outskirts of Salzburg. We had a lovely large, Alpine style room on the first floor with a balcony. Bed was very comfortable and the area is very quiet (right on the transition to countryside) so we had 3 nights very sound sleep. Bathroom was large and clean with a big 'walk-in' shower that always had hot water. Sure the view from the balcony would have been spectacular - from seeing others pictures - unfortunately the weather was quite foggy so we missed out! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and serves excellent food - both dinner and a breakfast buffet. For transport into Salzburg, the hotel is situated a mere 100 yards from a bus stop where you can catch the No 21 bus directly into the heart of the city and return. The main thing to say is how warm and friendly the owners are. From our first communication regarding public transport tickets to waving goodbye as we left, they are all very helpful and cheerful.

Very, very nice place. We where just passing and needed an overnight stay, but we enjoyed it very much. I travel a lot, but the pillows we had in the room were the most comfortable I have ever had in a hotel. Everything was clean and tidy, upt to high standard. The breakfast was wonderfull, had a lot to choose from and all was delicious. We highly reccommend the hotel and we will for sure target to stay here on our next tripp to the area. Hopefully when there will be snow :-)

Fabulous hotel and location

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the facilities were off the highest quality. Our room had a balcony and view of the mountains and we could see the snow on the peaks. The continental breakfast was lovely with eggs prepared to order. Having a free bus pass was invaluable as we used it daily. The stop was less than 2 mins walk from the front door and the buses arrived every 20 mins or so.

There isn't a thing we would change, I don't know why it has a 3 star rating - it should be higher

Breakfast was delicious with a large choice of cereals, meats cheeses. The friendly staff made sure that the food was kept well stocked. We loved the varied small dining areas, the terrace is very pretty for fine weather dining. We enjoyed our dinners, home cooked food at very reasonable prices.

All I can think of is the breakfast serviettes were a bit thin.

Comfortable, picturesque, quiet and fun city with lots to do and experience

Bloberger Hof is outside of city area and is in a semi rural setting. We loved the aspect of looking out over Mt Uttersberg and the changing scenes on the mountain. Breakfast is buffet style and delicious with great variety. Staff very courteous and helpful. Bus ticket supplied was excellent for us to get in and out of the city area to see the sights.

We like the location near a bus stop and the view from the room was great and it was clean and comfortable..

It wasn’t great value for money compared with what we’ve paid over the last two months. The hotel itself didn’t have a great vibe. Staff didn’t seem very happy and to be honest I thought it was a bit tight having to pay one dollar for each coffee capsule in your room.

Wonderful place in peaceful suburbs of Salzburg

We loved our stay from start to an end. The place is wonderful with amazing surroundings. Everything is suer clean, modern and really relaxing. By public transport you are easily in the city center in less than 20 minutes. The breakfasts were to die for…local food and drinks, everything fresh and delicious. It’s a family run small hotel with wonderful atmosphere and every little detail though of. We will definitely return the next time we are in Salzburg.

We loved everything! Just wish we were told right away about the bus, Salzburg card and other details. It was just a minor thing and we were told everything once we asked…but perhaps it would be good, if during the check in the staff could share this info.

Really great family run hotel just outside of the busy Salzburg city center. Easy parking, short bus ride to center. Staff was great. Hotel was very clean. Spacious rooms that were great, especially traveling with teenagers. Really pleasantly surprised with our dinner at the hotel restaurant. Would definitely stay there again.

We can’t wait to have our next stay as this is my favorite place to stay in Europe!

Everything was wonderful! The room we stayed in was HUGE and perfect for us and our two dogs. Good food for breakfast and amazing meals for dinner. Dinner reservations are required.

This is not a big deal and maybe it was intentional, but there were no trash receptacles outside. It would have been nice to have that, especially with dogs.

Lovely and nice location

The hotel is very lovely and convenient. Close to nature with a beautiful Mountain view and also close to the bus station which is very convenient to go to the Salzburg city. The staffs are also friendly and nice.

The pillows are too soft and too thin. We had a back pain after a few nights.

Everyone is very friendly, food is delicious. Quiet place as it is out of the city. The city center is easily reachable with bus, only 15 min.
