Wir waren mit dem Motorrad auf der Durchreise. Ruhige Unterkunft abseits des Trubels.

ausreichend Parkplätze vor dem Haus, nettes Restaurant mit guter Küche und freundlichem Personal. Frühstück war auch ohne Nachfrage nach besonderen Wünschen wie z.B. Rührei oder Omelett ausreichend.

Kamers hebben geen airco, waardoor we het raam open hadden gezet. Vanwege het ontbreken van een hor hadden we veel muggen op de kamer.

Gute Verbindung nach Salzburg.

Das Zimmer hat uns leider nicht überzeugt. Im oberen Stockwerk war es sehr warm, da weder Ventilator noch Klimaanlage vorhanden sind. Zudem waren im Zimmer viele Spinnweben zu sehen, was den Gesamteindruck beeinträchtigt hat. Die Bilder auf Booking zeigen vermutlich die frisch renovierten Zimmer im unteren Bereich des Hauses, die deutlich moderner und einladender wirken. Die Zimmer(altmodisch)im oberen Stock entsprechen diesem Eindruck jedoch nicht und sind eher einfach ausgestattet. Insgesamt können wir die Unterkunft daher leider nicht empfehlen, zumindest nicht die Zimmer im oberen Stockwerk. Risse an Wänden, Löcher

Se encuentra en plena campiña. Zona ganadera y agrícola. Todo muy auténtico. Como estar en una película de sábado la tarde.

El navegador se confunde un poco debido a la situación geográfica del hotel. Acabamos en medio de un camino rural que solamente cabía un coche, y eran dos direcciones. Pero llegamos a nuestro destino. Hay otra carretera que te hace llegar mucho más fácilmente.

Thoroughly enjoyable stay

Salzburg airport is close by but only heard a couple of planes and we are early risers! Food and service very good. Room spacious comfortable and very clean. Large balcony was a bonus.

Bis auf das enttäuschende Frühstück war unser Aufenthalt sehr angenehm in der herrlichen Lage.

am Samstag, 21.06. 2025 haben wir gegen 8 Uhr frühstücken wollen. Die Brötchen waren kalt und pappig und sie erschienen uns als wären sie nur aufgetaut worden. Aufschnitt- und Käseangebot mir wenig Auswahl. Marmeladen nur in Kleinstverpackungen, keine gekochten oder gebratenen Eierspeisen. Zuvor hatte eine Busreisegruppe gefrühstückjt, die jedoch bereits in den Bus einstieg. Das Frühstücksbufett wurde offensichtlich nicht aufgefüllt. wir reisen viel, aber so etwas ,hatten wir noch nicht erlebt. Das Abendessen am Abend zuvor im wunderbaren Gastgarten war sehr gut . Die Bedienungen freundlich und aufmerksam.

Mit freundlicheren Menschen im Service würden wir wieder kommen.

Zimmer incl. Betten : prima; Badezimmer: toll; Frühstück: sehr gut.

Zu bemängeln (für uns ein wichtiger Punkt): die Freundlichkeit der MitarbeiterInnen im Service war schlichtweg nicht vorhanden. Sowohl auf der Terrasse als auch beim Frühstück war man sehr kurz angebunden und muffelig. Die MAinbeim Frühstück verlies ständig den Raum, um an anderer Stelle zu plaudern und eine Katze zu herzen und auf dem Schoss zu haben(mehrfach) - und dann ohne Handschuhe mit der gleichen Kleidung zum Frühstücksservice. Da blieb natürlich keine Zeit, um ergänzendes zum Frühstück anzubieten (z.B. Eier, o.ä.)

the room was excellent, the rest a bit so so.

check in was ok, parking easy and free, location was very countryfied but quite a bit out of Salzburg. the room was large with a balcony and the rain shower amazing.

Breakfast lacked choice and was like an after thought. The furniture on the balcony looked and felt like it came from the dump. I would avoid the dinner offering in the restaurant, very plain and to be charged 3 euro for butter and 3 euro for 2 slices of dry brown bread is a joke.

Es war alles so wie erwartet

Das Hotelzimmer war modern und sehr geräumig, großer Balkon mit Blick in die Berge. Essen war top - qualitativ sehr gut Freundliches Personal, sehr bemüht.

Der Außenbereich der Sauna wird stiefmütterlich behandelt. Vielleicht auch weil es noch Vorsaison war. Die Sauna selbst war top!

Tolles Hotel mit hervorragendem Gasthaus - super Essen, netter Service. Wir waren auf einer Hochzeit in der Nähe und konnten das Zimmer schon früher beziehen - für das sind wir euch äußerst dankbar :)

Einziges Minus gibts leider für die Betten. Die Matratzen waren für uns beide einfach viel zu weich.

Wenn wir wieder nach Salzburg kommen, auf jeden Fall wieder ins Hotel Mostwastl.

Wunderschönes Zimmer mit Balkon und großem Badezimmer. Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Frühstücksei wird frisch gemacht. Auch das Restaurant hat sehr gute Küche. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Die Lage ist ein Traum. Man kann zu Fuß (ca. 30 Minuten) zum Zoo Hellbrunn gehen, der übrigens sehr sehenswert ist. Nur wenige Minuten vom Hotel entfernt ist eine Haltestelle, wo man entspannt mit dem Bus in die Stadt Salzburg fahren kann.

Zimmer sauber, grpß und komfortabel. Sehr schönes Bad mit riesiger Dusche. Großer Fernseher mit Couch im Zimmer. Frühstück sehr gut und reichhaltig. Tolles Hotel in guter Lage zu Salzburg. Wer Salzburg erkunden möchte, kann mit dem O-Bus fahren. Gute Verbindung in die Stadt. Wir kommen wieder!

Getaway

Everything was renovated and clean. The balcony and view were incredible. The staff was super friendly, especially since we do not speak German. The cakes and pastries were amazing. I liked that breakfast was included. The beds were comfy, and the shower was big. We added this stop to our Europe trip to relax before going to visit our family in Italy. It was truly a great experience. It was peaceful. There is a bus stop nearby, number 5 that goes directly to town for 3.10 euros. It took about 15 minutes, which was convenient.

We are usually not picky, but the pillows were a bit too soft, making it a tad uncomfortable, but this was honestly the best b&b we have stayed at, and we travel a lot. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Comfortable accommodations south of Salzburg

Second time visiting this hotel and service and comfort were equally as good this time around. Nice German breakfast with fresh breads and meats tempt on to over eat. Hotel has a nice restaurant with ample selections. We try to stop here on travels from Germany to Italy.

Nice stopover near Salzburg on trip to Italy.

Check-in was very smooth, the clerk reviewed our booking and gave us a description of the features of the hotel. The hotel is located at the base of the Alps and is the countryside next to Salzburg. It and another hotel have the two restaurants in the area. All other food options are by car. The hotel restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating and had both a good selection of food and drink. There was a bar and it also had a small bowling alley.

It takes a little time to get back onto the autobahn.
