Ideal location but needs some TLC

Good location to the rest of Skye, hot tub was great. It’s clear the hot tub is what you’re paying for.

POD is riddled with damp, you can smell it as soon as you walk in. Shower doesn’t drain well and needs a good clean- along with the full pod. The cleanliness was poor and it needs TLC it’s very run down. Heating wasn’t the best, kitchen doors are wonky. Only wooden spoons for cooking, no spatula etc. pillows are like pancakes.

The bathroom was awful, it was damp smelling and all needs replaced, floors needed a good clean along with other areas. Really let it down.

Unhappy

The view.

No cupboard to put food in and nothing to keep clothing in. No cleaning equipment, not even a brush. The radiator was directly below the TV and was very unstable. The sink in the bathroom was tiny and very low.. my husband couldn't wash his hands in it. The flooring in the wet room has seen better days. No labels on the many switches. No instructions for hob nor air fryer, which had no basket, only shelves. List of facilities shows disabled icon and says all on ground level but doesn't say that there are two deep steps to get to accommodation. I had to keep my wheelchair in car as there was no space in pod. The stated bbq was hidden around the corner and had seen better days. However, had we chosen to use it, there were no utensils. Very few utensils in kitchen. Hot tub definitely not private, as people next door could see and once in there, the only privacy was condensation on windows. Couldn't close doors to hot tub room unless half way up access stairs to tub. Nowhere to hang towels. Once the bubbles came on, there was a foamy scum appearing at one side of tub and as we got out we noticed there was no lid on filter. Almost £600 for 4 nights was way too much.

For a young couple a romantic retreat.

Location is excellent convenient to restaurants and hotel. Easy to find, just off the main road. Has of road parking. Pod is well equipped with everything you might need during your stay. Hot tub a great after a busy day

For an older couple we struggled with getting into and out of bed. Plus bed is quite small for two people.. Weekday traffic noise was a bit of a surprise as started early along the road in front of the property.

It was easy to find.

It was on its own in what was obviously previously the back garden of the house next door.There was no microwave.The light switch by the bed was poorly placed.There was a noise which I assumed was coming from the hot tub all night.

Close to town Pod was cosy and it was good to have parking on site

Took a while to work out the front door locking /unlocking … still didn’t work it out The bed was small .. really only big enough for one person Heater worked one night but took a while to come on the 2nd night (it was a cold night needed heating) Took a while to contact owner to ask for general instructions like the door.. didn’t bother then to ask about other queries

Lovely location and comfortable pod to relax in after a days walking.

The outside seating area was relaxing and we had a great view. Lovely to have a coffee machine and a welcome bottle of wine. We didn't use the hot tub as we didn't have a lot of time in the pod but I am sure we would have liked it and was fully enclosed.

We didn't have hot water in the kitchen and the shower screen could have been cleaner.

Romantic Incredible perfect lodge and stunning location

This property is amazing it’s in a perfect location to travel around Skye and see the most of it and has a pub and restaurant 3 min walk away from the lodge. The view from here is stunning and it’s very peaceful and quiet. The hot tub is incredible and extremely relaxing!

The location was the only thing we really liked, but there was no view from the pod or spa.

Expensive for what you got. Uncomfortable bed and could have been a cleaner space. Couch needs replacing!

Met our needs for an overnight stop over before onward travel.

There is a strong odour in the bathroom that is unpleasant. But rest of accommodation was very clean. Can’t comment on hot tub as we didn’t use this.

We didn't know what the meaning of POD. A small room with very small bathroom (very very small sink). Had no soup or shampoo. When we asked for, we were told that the cleaning lady forgot to put some but they didn't bring us some.

Location was good for main town yet was removed enough to be quiet. The pod was very well equipped.

The shower didn’t drain properly so we had to limit our time in there ti avoid flooding the pod.

Was very dirty and the bbq was so rusty that we got tetanus just looking at it. The bed was small and uncomfortable and there was a heavy noise coming from the fridge all night long. The pots were old and still dirty from the previous customers. One of the towels had hair from someone else. Also there was a lot of bin from a previous party...

Excellent property, location was perfect for our trip

Excellent communication from Sophie on the run up to our stay. Directions were spot on and the pod was really easy to find. Great view in the morning looking onto the mountains. Local Co-op just a few minutes walk round the corner and the chippy was perfect. Was a bit worried it might be a touch chilly in the pod in the morning but pleasantly surprised to wake up nice and toasty even tho it was a frosty morning. The Prosecco was a great addition when we were enjoying the hot tub! Would recommend and would certainly try to stay here again for our next visit to Skye.

Dampness issues stay clear away.

The hot tub was the only good thing about the property.

It has dampness issues it was just stinking of dampness it was impossible to sleep at night.we got in contact with booking.com after we got back to tell them of what we had to put up with.they contacted the owner about it and they said it has no issues at all.they clearly can't smell or see .we looked and found black mould at back of kitchen units plus on tops to skirtings on same wall.the owner is not offering any compensation.so I would advise to stay clear of this for a trip away to skye.
