Ibus Beach Hotel

We had a very pleasant stay. We wanted to be somewhere with good snorkling and diving, but the snorkling was so good (just out the door) that we never felt the need to go diving. The bed was comfortable and service was very attentive. Nearby restaurants had excellent food.

If we had stayed any longer we would have needed to rent our own scooter, there is only so much you can do by walking and car service is expensive and inconvenient (though all our drivers were excellent). I would also advise against snorkling or water activity during low tide when there are big waves. It is a pretty safe beach, but at low tide it is easy to get scratched up by the coral when the waves are strong.

We had a wonderful stay at Ibus Beach Hotel, Amed. The location is absolutely fantastic—right on the beachfront with breathtaking ocean views that make every sunrise unforgettable. The service was exceptional throughout our stay. Every member of the staff was warm, welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile, making us feel genuinely cared for. The food was delicious, with a good variety of options, and every meal was fresh and well prepared. Special Shout out to Ms.Putu.am The rooms are a little on the smaller side, but the spectacular sea views from the balcony more than make up for the lack of space. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the stunning views every morning was truly the highlight of our stay. Overall, Ibus Beach Hotel is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a peaceful beachfront escape in Amed. Great location, outstanding hospitality, delicious food, and unforgettable views—we would happily stay here again and highly recommend it! 🌴🌊

Location is lovely. Directly in the beach with snorkeling straight off the beach. Staff friendly.

Food and beverage offering could be better. No dinner menu, no room service. We would have been happy to stay at the hotel and spend money on site. We travelled by car and road wasn’t very good. Lots of pot holes and broken parts.

-excellent AC, WiFi, hot water -drinking water refills -beautiful ocean view - can see the ocean from every part of the room and lobby -great snorkeling in front of hotel, calm beach -sun loungers near beach and pool, sun and shade -super friendly staff -easy parking lot -Indonesian and Italian restaurants next door -everything comfortable, shower pressure great

-bumpy steep mountain road to get here, but you forget about it as soon as you walk into the hotel -not many places to walk, best to have motorbike
