Excellent property . It’s 2 star but facilities are more than that . Don’t go by the pics . They don’t justify the size of the room The owner is amazing . Lot of other facilities like massage, sunrise trip, food and other things are provided

I booked a room and my booking was confirmed by the hotel. Later (about 8p.m.) I came to the property, but the owner and the staff were not there, I asked some guests and they told me that there is no reception desk, but I could ask the guys from the nextdoor cafe, and so I did. Those people were not very friendly, but they admitted that they are the friends of the owner and that they could help me. After some time they could contact the owner, and told me to wait. It was already late and I wanted some clear answer, but they just told me to wait some more. No one told me what was the matter, and then finally some guy casually informed me there were no spare rooms. The fact that I had a confirmed booking didn't seem to be of any importance to them at all. They told me that according to the owner there was no booking and that I should go find something else. I had gone a long way and was very tired, the road to the property is very bad, I had booked it because the price was good and there was no chance to find something for the same price at that hour. A friend of the owner suggested I go to his guesthouse for a price 3 times higher, but I could not afford it and honestly I just think he wanted to benefit from this bad situation which was not nice at all. I tried to contact the hotel via the booking.com app, but there was no response. I didn't cancel my booking because I wanted to make a complaint to booking.com and leave a review later. I find it very distressing that booking.com is now sending me letters that I had not check in and there might be a fee for that. Earlier I had texted the booking.com service regarding this issue. I think that it is me who should get a reimbursement from this hotel. This situation is totally unacceptable. I had never encountered such situation before and I was sure that the confirmation meant that I would be able to check in.

The owner is a really nice guy and made us feel welcome. The room was beautiful with a sea view and a balcony and a big bed. You have access to a kitchen and living space. It was quite clean and the bathroom was functional with hot water and good pressure.

Not perfect but for the price it is above and beyond expectations.

Iluh and her family take care of you all the time and the warung is very good. The rooms are nice and good view. They can bring you with scooter and with boat for snorkeling. If you com in amed, stay there!

It is far away from the center . There are not any good restaurants , no availability for vegan food and is not very safe to walk at night.

I stayed here for 4 nights, that's soooo nice experience stay with putu and family. I went fishing and spearfishing with them, and the food the local dishes and fish their restaurant served are fresh and yummy! The room has a balcony forwards sea view, inside is clean and tidy, ac works very well. I would like to highly recommend this guest house and definitely come back here for my next holiday!

Just too far from amed town center, 30min riding but worth

Staying at Fisherman’s was one of the most heartwarming and memorable experiences I’ve ever had while traveling. From the moment I arrived, Putu and his family went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. They treated me like I was part of their family. The accommodations were perfect. The aircon works really well, and the WiFi was strong and reliable throughout my stay. My room was kept very clean, and they made sure I had everything I needed! Each morning, I got to pick a delicious complimentary breakfast. The banana pancakes in particular were a standout so simple but incredibly tasty. There’s also a Warung on-site, so you’re never far from great food. The location is peaceful and ideal for nature lovers. The black sand beach is just a short walk away and is amazing for snorkeling. I saw tons of sea life, including a sea turtle more than once truly magical. What made this stay so unique was the sense of community and connection. I was invited to join their family for dinner on my second night, and they even upgraded my room because I was staying for an extended period. I also had the chance to attend local ceremonies, which gave me a beautiful glimpse into the Balinese culture. This place is more than just a guesthouse it’s a hidden gem where you feel seen, valued, and at peace. I’ll never forget my time here, and I’m so grateful for the love and kindness Putu and his family showed me. I can’t recommend Fisherman’s enough.
