Aquaterrace Amed

I love this hotel and it’s t really is in a great spot, with a shop and restaurants close by. Good beach access, with good snorkelling at the front of the hotel. The staff are lovely. The views are amazing. This was my second stay here and it won’t be the last. Also feels very safe for solo travellers.

We absolutely loved our stay at AquaTerrace. Set at the quieter end of town, the breathtaking ocean views made it such a special place to unwind. The infinity pool was stunning, and the rooms were comfortable and relaxing. The staff were wonderful — so kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. AquaTerrace was the perfect place to stay — we truly didn’t want to leave! The Japanese cuisine at the restaurant was delicious, and the snorkeling right out the front was amazing. It’s handy to have a scooter if you want to explore, but there are also some great local warungs just a short walk away.

The hand-held shower was positioned quite low, it would have been preferable to have a shower rose to stand under while looking at that magnificent view from the bathroom.

Loved the close proximity of the the pool, the sunbeds and restaurant. Loved the infinity pool. Loved the food at the restaurant.

Location is excellent and quiet and the staff are amazing. The food was great and the whole experience was very relaxing!

Every now and then we stumble upon a place where everything clicks and feels perfect. Place where you can stay for ever, where your mind, body and soul are repairing each day! As you enter the property you’ll be welcomed by the magnificent view of a traditional fisherman’s village, spreading along a little bay and the clear, warm waters. Boats lined across and only few people in sight. That changes every morning with the return of little boats at full sail, rushing to get back and sell today’s catch to the fish merchants. Every morning you can witness this magnificent view from the comfort of your private balcony. You can be eating your delicious breakfast, delivered to your room or enjoying your Balinese coffee from your private sun-bed. There’s two building each containing two rooms. One upstairs and one on the lower floor. Only four in the premises. Boutique at its finest. Rooms are extremely comfortable, providing you with a big comfortable bed, very modern, quirky bathroom, the size of European lounge room :) and another bench bed to sit or rest. Air-condition was quote and efficient giving you the chance to hear the crushing waves below you. Aquaterrace also has a restaurant. Open all day and provide delicious food. From traditional Balinese to Japanese infused recipes that will surprise the fussiest customers. Cocktails are also on offer and even limited in variety, they were surprisingly good. Staff members were unbelievably nice and pleasant, eager to help with a smile, yet very professional. Owner is also there daily, making sure that everyone is provided with the deserved care and having a pleasant stay. They can also assist with additional activities and excursions. However, the location of Aquaterrace is second to none if you like to swim in a tropical oasis. The warm waters will give you hours of snorkeling with hundreds of tropical fish and coral formation. The whole bay is a coral reef.

Not a single thing!

Hotel was beautiful, in a quiet local spot with excellent snorkeling, spa, pool, and restaurants nearby. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - they felt like family after 4 days.

The only downside was that there were some ants around the room and one bit my partner 😅 For some it might be too far away - you need to take a car or hire a scooter (or stay in the hotel and enjoy it!). These things are all worth it though.

Everything about Aquaterrace was outstanding! It is in a beautiful location, we loved the pool and cabañas, fabulous spa services, lovely rooms and balconies, food and drinks were excellent and the staff are all very friendly, efficient and caring! A wonderful stay!

The food in the restaurant was very good. All the staff are great. A really good breakfast with a big choice of everything. The views are awesome. We really didn’t want to leave.
