Blue Moon Villas Resort

Stunning, privacy, surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers. Food in restaurant was the best in the area. Of course all the staff were lovely ❤️. Four separate pools meant we could often have the pool to ourselves.

Overall the property was stunning and absolutely loved the outdoor shower. The walls could do with a coat of paint.

The breakfast was fabulous and the staff were all very pleasant and nice. The beds look cute with the canopies and the pool area is really nice.

It was not stated that the rooms on the beach side might be quiet, but right across the small road, it sounds like you are staying on a farm. The roosters crowed and dogs barked at all hours and the road noise seemed to vibrate up through the bed so even with earplugs, it was impossible to sleep. The road noise lasted till midnight and started at 5am. The sheets were clean but not bleached and the toilet seat was stained so even though it had been cleaned, it looked dirty. There are not ride apps there so the hotels have a monopoly on dropped you in town 1.5 mile away. It was about $20 to be dropped and picked up. We chose to walk after that, but just be careful b/c there are no sidewalks.

The staff were amazing, room was comfy and had everything we needed, breakfast options were generous and delicious, snorkel gear and hire scooters available and the pool was clean and lovely - a few great warungs within walking distance we loved green melon and Warung Ibus Sea view

It’s a bit further out of town than we realised and a scooter is really the only way to get around. We did a lot of walking and paying for rides because we had never driven a scooter before and didn’t feel comfortable. There was quite a bit of dog noise and scooters driving past the property early in the morning, Otherwise everything was nice.
