Tina and Mick are so lovely and welcoming. The location is excellent for walking into town, but quiet at night. We had a lovely room, with a balcony.

Not visited this hotel before but overall it was a most enjoyable stay

The hotel was clean and comfortable, good facilities. Breakfast was good, very substantial. The hosts were excellent. Woul;d definitely go back again.

Excellent family weekend

Tina and Mick were very friendly and accommodating, very knowledgeable of the area and nothing was too much trouble for them. The location was perfect for our needs and our young Grandkids asked if we could stay there again.

Clean Well presented Lovely breakfast The hosts were lovely. I forgot my jacket and a few other bits and to save me paying postage Tina drove to the train station and met me out front with my belongings. The epitome of going the extra mile. Will recommend 👌

Lovely family B&B for our short stay

The Sandgate is a lovely little B&B where we were very well looked after. The breakfast was huge and good quality, cooked just how you asked for it. A special effort was made for my partners allergies which added to the family feeling of the place. Everywhere was clean and tidy, DVD's and umberella's were available for use on the rainy days. Little touches of sweets on the pillow, complimentary toiletries, tissues etc. The location is brilliant, just down the road from the Clock so you didn't get lost, and just far enough away from the front that the noise did not travel and keep you awake at night.

Nothing wrong with The Sandgate but Skegness was a little busy for us with the amount of arcades there are, but we found hidden gems of calm and decent coffee and a fantastic beach.

Excellent location and really clean! Lots of little extras that are really appreciated. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Great room with a great little balcony. Can’t recommend The Sandgate enough. Definitely worth a visit.

Both Tina and Mick were so friendly and they even got my little girl a Easter egg as we stayed over the Easter bank Holiday weekend, this was such a lovely touch and she definitely enjoyed eating it on the way home. This B&B is in a great location just one street away from the sea front and the main shopping and arcade area.Having the parking at the B&B was a great extra and made it stress free knowing we had somewhere near and we didnt need to worry about looking for a parking space and paying for it when we got there. They did a free breakfast with our stay and had a great choice too, this is what made me choice this one originally over others. Definitely will be coming back when we come to Skeggy again next time. Thanks again for a lovely stay Alana, Andy and Olivia x

Warm, welcoming hosts and an ideal base to explore the Lincolnshir Coast

The Sandgate was spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and welcomed here. It was an ideal base to explore both Skegness/Lincolnshire Coast. Plenty of parking off the road. Before my trip, I had a memory in my minds eye of the B &B I stayed in at Margate, on family holidays as a child about 45-50 years ago, stepping out in the morning, waiting for my family to go to the beach and looking at a sun/ ray carved on the wooden gate and just feeling happy and joyful. This property on my trip brought back and reinforced my happy memories.

Fantastic weekend and lovely accomodation.

Perfect location for everything including the Reggae and Ska festival. Added bonus of free parking. Room was clean and comfy. Tina is lovely and friendly.

Fab couple of days

Tina & Mick amazing hosts from start to finish, can't do enough for you. Breakfast was lovely and very tasty, and everything is nearby just a very short walk to all amenities. Would definitely stay again & recommend My grandkids wanted to live there🤣

Fab fun lovely break.

Mick and Tina are very friendly and helpful telling us about all the things that were happening in Skegness. The room was inviting and smelt so fresh and clean the bed was comfortable and we slept well as no rowdy people coming in late at night. The breakfast was really filling and cooked to perfection. We will be returning again next year. Car parking was really good and felt safe leaving the car there and Tina even said we could leave our car there on the day we were leaving if we wanted to spend the day in town which I thought was very nice.
