What a place to stay

From walking up into the venu was inviting strat away you could tell it was at a very high standerd we were at the top off the holtet and the room was still at a high standerd ,the bed was very comforble ,very clean ,the little touches made it stand out ,we were made welcome from when we walked in to the place . With paliteness/ smiles, we got a text message to tell us the room was ready before our time.we were very happy in the way staff looked after us and was given 10% of food -drink at the pub/chipshop.

If ive got to say anythink on things that can maybe looked at is ,,the shower presser in the room we were in ,wasnt powerfull, and maybe look at the carparking ,

Overall very clean and comfortable hotel, friendly staff, great location

The room was very clean and modern, bed was extremely comfortable which made our stay even more enjoyable, getting a great sleep starts you off on a good note for the next day. Very pleasant stay, room was warm and comfortable

Only downside to the room, couldn’t sleep with window open due to the terrible humming noise at the back of the hotel, presuming it was the generator, also the extractor fan in bathroom took ages to turn off

Lovely stay

It is a lovely place, looks great from the outside and that carries on inside as well, we loved that the front door is key card locked and that if you don't fully close your room door then it beeps, ensuring that it is locked and no one can get in. The bed was very comfortable, nice big TV, a range of extras including tea, coffee, hit chocolate and biscuits which added a nice homely touch. The staff were lovely, greeting us when we left our room and again when we entered the hotel, very friendly and made sure that everything was okay with us.

It wasn't a major problem so we didn't mention it to the staff. However, we did pay slightly extra to get a sea view room, we were given a room on the bottom floor which meant we didn't get the sea view due to other buildings blocking the way, if we were further up it wouldn't have been a problem.

Would stay again

Location excellent for main Skeg activity, and Lynn was the receptionist who dealt with us and was superb, cheerful , polite and helpfull from the minute we walked in. Room was lovely smelt clean and was, bed was comfortable, restaurant next door which is same owners was great for meals aswell

Finer detail in rooms no coat hooks when you walk in room for example, as weather was very wet, but only a minor niggle.

Great location, right on the front

No car park, but there’s one not far away and only cost £3 for 24 hours. No breakfast facilities which also fine. Plenty places near by to eat and also knew about both before booking

Long hard night with no sleep and not for a fun reason.

Location was great. Plenty to do in the area. Decent pub next door.

The pillows were terrible. The bed was full of sand. Lighting was rubbish in the bathroom. There was a constant hum all night that kept me awake. I paid for a sea view which was none existent.

Brilliant.

Hotel is in a great position on the sea front, we were able to park on the road outside the hotel, as it was winter and there were no restrictions during the winter months. There is a car park at the back of the Hotel also. The room was a good size, kettle, tea, coffee etc. Hairdryer. Bathroom had shower gel and Shampoo. Ours had a bay window, sea view. Temperature was easy to adjust on radiator. Very clean, very comfy bed and bedding.

Perfect location, room was lovely and very clean with a great shower. Staff were great and really helpful.

The downside was that it was very noisy from the rooms above, much more excessively than other hotels we have stayed in, walls and floors need some form of soundproofing to help with this.

Comfortable friendly clean close to everything

Room was cold on arrival we put the radiator valve on so it heated the room as it is November shower was a little enclosed and when sat on toilet you was on top the sink as it was too close overall the was modern bed was very comfortable nice big tv very clean plenty of tea coffee hot chocolate overall very satisfied and would visit again but go for the bigger room and hope for more room to shower and sit on the toilet without being on top of the sink

A lovely overnight stay

On arrival I received a very warm welcome and everything I needed to know about my stay was explained to me. The room was perfect and spotlessly clean. Towels, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner and hand-wash were all provided and there was a hairdryer in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was just the right temperature. Tea, coffee and even a hot chocolate was provided in the room. Having sockets next to the bed was a great benefit and these also had USB ports. I will definitely be staying again

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fab location very clean. Room. As very well fitted out this all that you need.

The single room was a little bit on the small side. There wasn't much room in the bathroom sitting on the loo, which was a bit uncomfortable. All this aside, the room was very clean and did have all you needed.
