Perfect for a one night work stop

Really good value, clean tidy and well-equipped. Great location. Flat 5 lovely lounge.

Quirky layout - have stayed previously on the ground floor flat 1 which has a small bedroom in the middle with no window (except right at the top where it gains light from the bathroom at the back) and this time in flat 5 where the second bedroom is more of an alcove with only a fraction more space than the bunk bed it houses. But on both occasions it was just an overnight stop for work so did not matter.

It's ok, but wouldn't revisit, but cheap for one night.

Check in and out was super easy, nice being so close and free parking. X

Was really cold. In th evenings, ok for one night would be very disappointed if stayed a week. The hole place is super run down, felt like the 60s, had a funny smell to the bed sheets, wouldn't go back if I'm honest.

It was fine for what we needed, an inexpensive overnight stay, but the parking situation was frustrating.

It was fine for what we needed - just slept there basically.

Mainly booked because of the property having parking, but firstly hubby had trouble finding the parking, and secondly when we got back for the night could not use the parking due to the way other customers had parked. So we had to walk two tired 5 year olds and our luggage from another location.

Stay at the Chadwick

We booked this self contained flat as we were attending the skeggy ska reggae festival IT WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION FOR THE VENUE Parking was available . It has everything you need and is comfortable clean and tidy we stayed in room 4 on the 1st floor with balcony and had a lovely stay Although it is in need of some TLC decorating wise . The owner is a lovely lady who couldn't do enough for us .

It did not bother us but just to make people aware it has steps up to the property access wise and you will need to walk down the side street to the parking space with your luggage .

Rating not Deserved- Ground floor Apt

Bed was comfortable. WiFi is good.

We had the ground floor 'apartment'. That's a stretch! It has a kitchen and a counter bench with bar chairs as the only place to sit.. It's old, and DIY renovated, the floors above are creaky. No hand soap or bath-wash amenities, pull cord water heater in the shower...cheap air fresheners permeate air. The rating on this site is so not deserved. To call it waterfront...while strictly true...is a joke. A constructed kiddies pool and park put the water at least 600m away.

As a cleaner by trade, cleanliness is paramount. There was a light fitting and it was covered in dust. The wallpaper was preeling off the walls cos there was damp

Fantastic location. Free Parking. Owner was very friendly and offered us late checkout for free as we were at an event finishing at 6am and had a long drive home! A few teabags and some sugar was available in the kitchen.

Pleasant stay in a convenient location at a very reasonable price.

Convenient location. We were able to leave our car parked in a space at the back even after we'd checked out. Facilities adequate for our needs - small kitchen area, but enough space to make an evening meal.

A few areas of the apartment looked ready for some redecorating / renovation. Very random assortment of cutlery and crockery, but all perfectly usable, and no more so than you might expect for the price paid.

Everything- the apartment was clean and tidy, beds were comfy. The location is central to absolutely everything. Aramide who manages The Chadwick gave us a lovely welcoming and checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything was ok for us.

Lovely stay, apartment bigger than expected and perfectly comfortable for family of five. Great value for money and location is perfect. Very warm welcome on arrival. Expected street noise but even on Saturday night was very peaceful with the windows ajar. Hope to stay again in future.

Great location!

The location was great for being close to most of amenities. The apartment was OK, quiet area, little traffic.

Lack of seating, no table to eat meals, the kitchen area was OK with basic utensils. No tea coffee sugar available, no toiletries, no towels. If visiting this property please bear in mind to take your own essentials. The shower wasn't working properly, either scolding hot or freezing cold, no option to regulate the temperature. I spoke with the host, who will try and fix the issues.
