Close to Tesco and skeg town

Smelt of fags as you walk in. We stayed in room 5 no hot water and heating was poor. Bathroom kept making noise.

Location and lovely hosts a great little hotel for the money, Don’t come expecting 5* for the budget price but the room was clean and comfy and owners was more than helpful.

Perfect location, the house looked very unkempt from the outside, windows/entrance very dirty. The room was nice and big, had been decorated, the bathroom was very good, fabulous very big shower. Downside, the bedding really let it down, very old and worn, threadbare which was a shame! headboard in poor condition, with the covering ripped and torn. Stayed 2 nights, no room service or replacement of milk ect, although on check in they did say, ring if we wanted anything!!

The room and breakfast was great. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. No request was to much trouble. Every need was met.

The only fault I had was when booking it stated it had a fully stocked bar. But the bar shut because of covid. That was one of the reasons for picking the glendale. But saying that I would definitely stay again.

a fabulous two day stay in Skegness

Lovely guest house,situated a very short walk from the sea front.Very friendly hosts,Kevin and Sue,made us welcome from arrival,and we were able to book in early.We had a large room on the top floor which was ideal for the two of us and labrador.Also a nice spacious breakfast room,with a terrific full English breakfast served each day.We were helped with the baggage on arrival to go upstairs and the same was offered on departure.A great place to stay.....Get yourselves booked in,you know it makes sense !!

It was brilliant the room was spacious even with the hot water incident we loved it

We gladly enjoyed the clean room and quietness, as well as the view from the window. We liked how there was a bed for everyone and no-one had to share a bed and how I was quite close to places we wanted to see!

While we were using the shower the water turned hot very quickly it almost burned me. We also saw how we can not turn the hot water cold and warm we had to used the cold tap water! It was very unpleasant.

Dog friendly and the location

looked dated. Needs upgrading. our bed in room 5 was a pocket sprung mattress, uncomfortable and noisy every time either one of us moved. All other accommodation we have stayed all have memory foam mattress’s or toppers. Dinning room needs a lot of work, very 1980’s. Front of property needs making pretty.

Location, very quiet,

Don't go before Easter. Skegness mostly open but hotel did not do breakfast as advertised until after Easter! Room Service almost non-existent, bed made daily but rubbish bin not emptied in 3 days, tea, sugar etc not replenished in 3 days.

Owners very friendly very accommodating would return again

Breakfast fresh hot nothing too much for the owners fresh chopped fruit on offer befor full English including cereal and Pure orange juice , and as much toast you would like to go with your full English plus good quality bread

Over head shower a lacking a bit of power , but that could of been to more people using showers in other rooms
