Bedroom and bathroom were large enough and well-appointed, but in the basement with very little natural light from high windows at adjacent sidewalk level. It appears that there may be several rooms at this level--just need to ask when making reservations. Location of hotel itself is convenient to downtown Kilkenny, and parking is available. The breakfast was fine.
Did not expect to be given a room in the basement, and it definitely was not worth the price charged. Musty smell in the hallway to the room (though smell not noticeable in room itself).
