We stayed a single night at Berkeley House. It's conveniently located and all the various sites we wanted to take in and experience were within walking distance. Kilkenny Castle was right around the corner and there was a lovely little cafe right next door. Staff that we met were so helpful and gracious- I can't say enough good things about how friendly they were.
No A/C and no mini fridge in the room. Coming from Canada, that's standard for most hotels, but we totally understand that this isn't necessarily so across the pond, especially in older buildings. We did have a fan in our room and with the window left open, we managed to survive. Heads up- the shower floor was slippery.

Room was big, bathroom was modern and had shampoo and conditioner! Very central. Great location. Door keys being on your phone is handy. Staff were attentive.
Plug sockets not on both sides of the bed. No Netflix on the tv even though the remote had a Netflix button.

No staff, you can hear everything everyone else is doing electronic key is a hit or miss sometimes it works first go other times you gotta click it a few times to actually get it to unlock
