Hiša Erlah

A helyszín, a design, a szállásadó hozzáállása, a reggeli, a tisztaság nagyszerű volt. Rugalmasan kezelték az érkezésünket.

Az ágyunk nagyon kényelmetlen volt. Óriási gödör volt mind a két oldalán az ágynak, érdemes lenne cserélni. Sajnos a folyosóról minden behallatszik, de ha olyan vendégek vannak, akik erre tekintettel vannak, akkor ez kevésbé okoz problémát.

The Bohinj area is spectacular. Hiša Erlah is nestled in a beautiful, peaceful valley just a 5-minute walk from the gorgeous lake and some nice hiking trails. They have paddleboards and kayaks that you can borrow for free — being out on that lake is so dreamy. It’s also only a 2-minute walk from a great restaurant, and an 8-minute walk from Camp Bohinj, a busy campsite with a fun vibe, beach, and pizzeria/bar. My seven year old loved the playground in front of the inn. The breakfast room is cozy with lovely views, and the breakfast itself was very good. We also really appreciated how they left out fruit and pastries throughout the day for snacking, plus unlimited tea and coffee. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend Hiša Erlah to others.

We knew going in that there was no air conditioning. We thought the cool evenings and a fan would be enough, but despite propping the door open overnight, the room stayed warm and made it difficult to sleep. (Plus, keeping the door open meant it got bright early.) There is a tourist bus stop right outside the inn, which didn’t affect the peaceful vibes or beauty of the valley, but I had imagined the inn to be more isolated so was just a bit surprised. A few small things: the bright motion-sensor light in the toilet disturbed sleep (though we solved it by unscrewing the lightbulb overnight). It would have been great to have guest laundry facilities (though you can use the laundromat at the campsite nearby). A guest microwave would be nice, particularly since there is (helpfully!) a guest fridge. The lack of a shower door meant the bathroom floor got soaked no matter how much we tried to angle the showerhead towards the wall. We also thought it was a bit odd that they did not provide shampoo or conditioner given the high price — and how generous the inn was in other ways.

We really enjoyed this place. Hosts were friendly and there were some welcoming treats. Breakfast was excellent. Nights were peaceful. There was a door on to the balcony and a window in the shower. So at night air could circulate nicely making the room comfortable. Beds were comfortable too.

Bath towels didn’t absorb water as well as usual.

The location is amazing! The house is located close to great hiking trails, whether you like mountainside or lakeside walks. Being on the secluded side of the lake, it has just enough privacy to avoid tourist hotspots.

The room is very small. The breakfast could use more hot meals.
