High quality for your money

Really really nice place, high quality in every detail. Beautiful environment, comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, very nice staff. Modern, trendy without being pretentious. The Bohinj lake is within walking distance together with some very nice hiking routes, so if you don't want to, you don't need your car. We will definitely come back in another season, too.

Beautiful hotel with nice views and excellent restaurant

Majerca is a beautifully furnished hotel with comfortable rooms and in great surroundings, just a 10-minute walk from the Bohinj lake. The view of the mountains from the room is stunning. The staff is nice and helpful. The breakfast is excellent as you can chose any dish (or a few) from the menu, they have eggs, omelettes, fruit, yoghurt bowls, smoothies, pancakes, cold cuts etc. We also recommend having a dinner at their restaurant which was also amazing.

Will definitely book the same room again

Sensational property, completely silent and still (despite being New Year’s Eve) and surrounded by nature. The room was absolutely fantastic as well. Will definitely come back. Breakfasts were great too.

We came with a dog, which was great. We enjoyed a private sauna included in the price, unlimited. Everything was very luxurious and nice.

There was no fridge in the room (we had a deluxe room) and it was a bit too small.

Lovely hotel with lovely staff and breakfast

Staff were so nice and location was amazing, lovely breakfast

The only issue was it was a walk near a dark forest around 10 minutes from the bus stop, which was okay but I was a solo female traveller so a bit scary so I would aim to get back to the hotel before dark if you wanted to avoid this.

a wonderful stay in a magical place with a view of the mountains

A wonderful hotel. Great location, very close to a beautiful lake. Wonderful view from the shared terrace, fantastic breakfast. The restaurant was very good. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, and always on hand. The garden by the terrace was magical.

- noise caused by the location of the rooms partly facing the road - Very poor lighting in the bedroom and bathroom. The number of points is sufficient, but there is no zoning. Furthermore, there is no lighting for relaxing or reading by the bed.

Serene, peaceful and relaxing

The hotel is situated in a quiet and serene location with great views of the mountains. We loved our room - it was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They had an amazing breakfast with lots of choice - I am gluten free and they had gluten free bread and were very accommodating of my dietary needs. The dinner was also excellent and I thought very well priced .

A pleasant stay but wouldn’t recommend room 1 (garden room with sauna) as it’s directly next to the kitchen and just off

Kristina and Lucia ❤️ the ladies from the breakfast were amazing… they really made us feel at home! A warm human touch with a laugh and good recommendations! They deserve a raise! Facilities are good and clean! Even with our dog the room was each day made proper and decent. Good shower, nice soap and good bed!

The eveningcrew can learn from the morningcrew in the human touch. Now they ‘ do what they have to do ‘. Tip: maybe they can do an exchange 😉

Welcome luxury, peace by the lakeside

The hotel is a short walk into town, perfectly easy to do but pleasantly secluded so you're not amongst it all. Lake Bohinj is right nearby, the staff were very accommodating and helpful, recommending a variety of walking options to fit into our timescale. The facilities were excellent - this is the only time I've ever had a room with a sauna in, and it was very welcome after the 6 hour hike! Bonus points to the restaurant staff who helped out with additional bedding when we realised we needed it - I strongly recommend booking dinner when you check in, it was delicious and so was the wine.

Wonderful stay at hotel Majerca - one of the best of our trip, and we would love to return for longer. Beautiful hotel with great attention to detail, very comfy bed, balcony with gorgeous views. We had dinner outside with the tasting menu and it was amazing food. We would love to return, thankyou!

Beautiful hotel, best breakfast

Beautiful although the room is a bit small with no fridge, nice view from balcony, book dinner and don't miss it, breakfasts were fantastic, lake is not too far, go to stunning town of stara fuzina. Slap mostnice is a great walk, we also walked north side of the lake and got the boat back.

A real gem!

The hotel is in a stunning location. Every single staff member was so welcoming and helpful, from arrival and tips of where to head to so we could enjoy the lake, to incredible food, wine and service at dinner, through to a lovely breakfast and really attentive staff. We wish we could have stayed longer, it was a little paradise!!

The hotel is located on a quiet stretch, but like a 5 minute drive to Lake Bohinj and its surrounding restaurants. The restaurant on site was fantastic. Food was so fresh, so delicious. Hotel Majer’ca was everything we could have asked for and more! The location, the restaurant, the staff (in particular Lucy and Kristina who were so welcoming and made our stay so brilliant). The best birthday stay for my partner and we can’t wait to return

Everything! The place, the food, the staff, the location. Really nice and refreshing. Everything was beyond expectations.

Only thing I didn't like is a floor heating. It was too hot in room for my taste (even after I tried to lower temperature) and I slept with open balcony doors 🤷🏻

Excellent, high value for money.

Great breakfast, excellent location. Stunning value for money - the restaurant in particular was a highlight. We were able to also reserve mountain bikes for a ride around the area, which was lovely.

Absolutely brilliant place!

Fantastic small hotel, ideally located for exploring the Bohinj area, with brilliant staff and a great restaurant. The breakfasts offered a wide range and were delicious. The evening menu was well priced for very high quality with a good range of fine Slovenian wines. We stayed in Room 2B which was large, spacious and very comfortable. it also had its own sauna which was great after a long day walking round the lake. It is difficult to find fault with this hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location when visiting Bohinj and Bled. Much less touristy feeling than the Bled area.

The breakfast staff were exceptionally friendly. The toiletries were great, and the room had a quietly chic vibe. the views were incredible from the balcony and restaura nt. The food was wonderful, an amazing breakfast considering it was included in the room rate. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stunning location, comfortable and cozy

This place was a winner from the moment we walked in the door. The staff is friendly and professional, room is modern and cozy. GREAT shower with L'Occitane toiletries. The views are amazing -- it was grey and rainy when we arrived so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor spaces, which are really inviting. EAT HERE if you have the chance. The chef is brilliant and the four-course tasting menu is a value! They paired Slovenian wines for us and they were all delicious.

perfect place to stay

We were staying for few nights, big family group with one dog. The location is perfect. It is near Bohinj lake and in the gorgeous small village Stare Fuzine. You need to visit the whole village, it is a relaxed and inspiring short walk. The breakfast was super (traditionally with local groceries, home made yogurt is excellent) and also we had dinner in their restaurant that is highly commendable - an unrepeatable slow food experience in 4-5 superb courses... The accommodation in general is clean, comfortable and it exceeded my expectations. We will certainly come back on our next visit to Bohinj lake.
