The restaurant is very good. Also snacks duting the day. Head of staff in the restaurant is very friendly. We know him for years. We will miss him, since he is going to pension.

The room nr 206. We are visiting this hotel more than 15 years , wedding anniversary. All these years we were very satisfied, unless this year. Very small room, very old furniture and what is the worst, the smell of mold. Please consider for a partly refund.

The Kranjska Gora hotel is nice and cosy place.

Good food, big rooms, tasty food, polite and helpful staff.

The swimming pool is too small. The storage for the ski equipment is not adequate. The boots heater is missing.

Nice place for skiing

room size is fine, a lot of space for clothes and ski clothes. Room for ski equipment. Very close to ski slope. Breakfast is very good. You can have a dinner too, also very good. Pool is fine. Thai massage was excellent.

Magical & Fabulous Stay!

Dining / Restaurant staff was exceptionally warm and the food was great! (dinner and breakfast). The hotel is generally beautiful and welcoming. The hotel location is good and walking distance to the centre. Friendly staff and rooms are a good size, I had booked rooms for myself and family.

The bathing / indoor swimming facility is too small and could be improved. The Sauna is also the same. Paid Parking was another downer, it would have been great that hotel residents have exemption on paying for parking.

Great rooms, wonderful food, spectacular views!

Kranjska Gora hotel was in the perfect location for our stay. The rooms were excellent - modern and comfortable - including. a spectacular view of the surrounding Julian Alps. Everything was delightful including the warm bathrobes. The restaurant was superb with some of the best fish and Italian food on our trip. Finally, our hiking trail into the mountains and around the lakes was literally out the front door of the hotel.

Everything was delightful including the staff who gave us valuable hiking tips. Perhaps there might be some flexibility in the restaurant menu allowing for Ala carte dinners rather than set menus (which might have been due to our stay in late October. however).

Excellent choice to stay in Kranjska Gora

Hotel Kranjska Gora is a lovely, pleasant hotel with family atmosphere in a beautiful environment. The room was clean and tidy, the breakfast was tasty, versatile, the personal friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking space at the hotel if you come by motorbike or by car. The hotel is just a few minutes’ of walk away from the centre, where lovely cafés, restaurants, streets, houses etc. await the visitors. Also, the lovely and beautiful Jezero Jasna is just a few minutes away and very worth of visiting. So if you want to spend some time to relax, enjoy beautiful nature and the lovely small town Kranjska Gora in comfort, then Hotel Kranjska Gora is an excellent choice. We had a nice time there.

A convenient and good stay in a nice hotel with a lovely view and great staff.

The location is close to the skiing and city center. The tennis courts are just next door and easy to book. The masseuse was amazing and the staff at the front desk were very kind and helpful!

. Friendly and welcoming staff . Good pool and jacuzzi facilities . Good location for those wishing to explore the ski slopes in the area, as you can reach the slopes on foot . Basic but ok breakfast . We received vouchers for a wine tasting session, which was very nice.

. The room was very hot, even switching off the central heating . There was no hot water on the first night, but the staff soon solved the problem the next day . My group stayed for 4 nights and, on the last day, the hotel didn't prepare the entire breakfast buffet. According to them, it was because we were the only ones staying. In the end, we had to order à la carte.

This is not a 4* hotel as they are marketing it. This was a 4* hotel maybe in the 90s. A lot of things need to be renovated. Money for value felt low.

Without the need for a shower, this hotel will be a nice opportunity to stay.

The most. We come to the reception. They already had everything prepared. Gave us the feeling to be at home. In the room a personal welcome letter rounded everything to a very good welcome experience.

In the hotel are architectural failure in the building visible. Lets start with the shower, the water tabs are at the opposite side, where the glass window is to have a dry room whilst showering. Thus, makes it impossible to have a right shower. The shower hose is stretched to the maximum, the water goes somewhere else. But not to the person.

Great hospitality - the ladies at the reception were very kind and helpful. The staff in the restaurant were also nice. We could resolve some smaller issues with the restaurant bills with mutual respect - I really liked this attitude!

Average hotel at a nice spot, would’t book dinner again

The staff were nice, as well as the hotel cat Garfield. We appreciated a lot of parking space in front of the hotel. Our room was overlooking this parking lot and the road but it was not too noisy, though, and the view at the mountains was nice. The location is perfect, close to the river and Jasna lake, as well as close to the town’s centre. The rooms were clean and the bed quite comfy.

The hotel has seen better days. The furniture was a bit old, the bathroom smaller than on the pictures and a bit tricky. There was a fridge in the room which was a plus but it almost failed to open and close as the architect put it inside a cabinet which had a door opening other way than the fridge. The wifi in the rooms was not quite strong but we were okay with that. It was quite hot in our room even though it was cold outside. There was no air conditioning available. As for food - the breakfasts were average. We stayed for two nights and one night we decided to book a dinner at the hotel and that was a mistake. The food looked cheap and didn’t taste like much. For 25 eur/person (without drinks) we could have had a royal dinner in the town’s centre so we regretted this decision. Also, the restaurant probably still follows a lot of covid rules (in July ‘23) which for some might be great but I personally hated all the glasses and cutlery being wrapped in paper. Also, there was a hybrid system of self-service buffet as some of the food was served by a cook through a plexiglass and that just didn’t feel nice at all. If you wanted a flat plate, you would have to play detective for a while because those were hidden in the corner with cheeses/desserts. Also, it would be nice if the management tried to be a bit eco-friendly. There’s no need for changing the towels every day. Don’t get me wrong - it’s nice to have them! But just quite unnecessary when we spent just two nights.

The location was very good for our purpose; the arrival was nice as well as the support of the night receptionist; breakfast had a good and huge selection; free parking directly in front of the hotel; cute hotel cat

Hotel passed it's better days and seems very used; double bed meant that between the matresses is a gap of at least 5cm, as well as bed was for a 1,89m person too short; toilet strangely positioned (only small space to wall) and shower not appropriately designed (shower wall not really a protection as not long enough) so water was all over the floor in the bathroom bathrobes for using the in the rate included pool only available for an additional charge Breakfast: warm dishes at breakfast protected behind plexi glass walls (COVID measures) but no staff (or having to wait for some time) to be served; bad coffee; only time a lot of staff was available when the buffet was removed before end of the breakfast time (10:00) - without any warning Neutral but in our personal case uncomfortable: COVID-measures are especially in the breakfast area but also in the rest hotel area on high level (like reminders everywhere and hand gloves for buffet) A lot of hanged warnings what is forbidden in the hotel or which behaviour is expected

Whether you prefer a hearty meal to start your day or a lighter option, the breakfast spread catered to all tastes. The attentive staff ensured that everything was well-stocked and promptly refilled. Another highlight of our stay was the convenient parking available right in front of the hotel. It provided us with peace of mind, knowing that our car was secure and easily accessible whenever we needed it. This amenity eliminated the stress of searching for parking spaces in a popular area like Kranjska Gora. The hotel's location was perfect for our needs. Situated amidst stunning natural beauty, it provided an excellent starting point for hiking adventures. The proximity to the city center was also a bonus, as we could easily explore the local restaurants and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere without traveling far.

The rooms at the Best Western Hotel were spacious enough for a comfortable stay. However, it is worth mentioning that the furniture showed signs of wear and tear. While this did not significantly impact our overall experience, it would be wonderful to see the hotel invest in refurbishing the rooms to match the quality of their service.
