i loved the room with the river view.

After first day of my three day stay at nhow I received an email asking me to vacate the room or pay an upgrade fee. I paid for the basic room but on my arrival I was given the river view room room (number 1503). I was unable to vacate the room as was at the Congress and I would be coming back to the hotel until the evening. Although the issue was amicably resolved after couple of emails, I wish to point out that allocation of the river view room was offered by the hotel and not at my request. Hence, I should not have been inconvenienced by moving to another room or asked to pay an upgrade fee. I believe if a mistake is made by the hotel, guests should not be inconvenienced by the way I was.

Got an our free spa in our booking but couldn’t even use it because everything was full. Prices of drinks downstairs in the lobby could be a bit less expensive in my opinion.

The location is great with a view and some stores for food & drinks around. The stuff were kind and helpful. Typical "nhow" comfort beds as expected.

We were there due to a technical problem with some water pipes and as a result, the fully booked hotel had only one elevator to serve all the people from the ground to their floors. More over, there were guests for the bar trying to use the same one elevator. It was a mission to reach your floor since you had to stop in all floors. There was also available the facilities elevator which you could use only going down since in the ground it was necessary to use stuff card. Sometime there was someone there to help. In all that mess, there was no sign that the breakfast floor has been changed, so the first day there was a confuse (they had informed us about the breakfast floor in the checkin but we forgot that). The breakfast was on huge cold "event" area. Just to have a table and a chair to eat. Nothing special. Sauna was out of order too. I understand the situation with the water pipes problem of the previous days and it was not their intension to disturb but I should have been informed about the situation. Probably I would have choose another place to stay.
