It is a good hotel but it is not as good as other Thon hotels I've stayed so far.

Spacious room with amazing river view. Very nice restaurant on the gorund floor. Breakfasts are alright but not as varied as in Thon hotels in Brussels.

Bathroom is small and the water from shower goes everywhere. Also a glass door is a strange design: you can see what person is doing in the toilet. Double bed is actually two beds next to each other - not good for couples, as they tend to separate everytime you try to get together in the middle. The tram goes on the Erasmus bridge quite often and it is pretty loud even with closed windows. The balcony is not equiped with anything so basically you can just stand there but it's not fit for sitting and watching the the waterfront with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee (which is a shame).

It’s located in a beautiful picturesque area with a window view to the river Maas and Erasmusbrug. Hotel crew was lovely, room is clean and nicely organized, breakfast tasty and plenty

The bed is not too comfortable for couples. Even though it was quality mattress by itself, our large size bed appeared to be assembled from two separated ones and it constantly slide apart and the hole appeared in between us. If you’re a hugger sleeper couple it’s very inconvenient

Clean, comfortable room. Good size tv with channels in different languages. Goof WiFi. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good in quality and selection.

Perfect stay for our 11th Wedding Anniversary

The room had a fantastic view of the Erasmus bridge and the port of Rotterdam, Breakfast was plenty and fresh

My choice of bed was not fulfilled, and having to sleep on separate beds with my wife was not comfortable at all!

Great hotel in convenient location.

Hotel was 10-15 min walk into Rotterdam Centre - great location. Pay car parking 2 min from hotel (€40 a day). Hotel and room very clean. Continental breakfast with great variety to choose from - extra charge.

The bathroom door in the room is thin, milky glass. Looks great but not practical.

Location is good and rooms are comfortable and clean.

The person in charge of the breakfast was not very helpful with the selection to be replaced (smoothies, sausages,etc) due the time was almost finished. Even more people were joining the breakfast and still 30 ‘minutes to close. Breakfast was 24€ per person.

Wouldn't ever book a Thon hotel again.

Bed was comfortable.

We arrived via bicycle. We were told there was no secure cycle location in or at the hotel. In 20 years cycle touring in Holland this is the first time we have experienced this. Very poor in such a pro cycling country.

Convenient to Holland America cruise terminal

Staff was very helpful checking us in early having arrived from US early in am. Also when AC didn’t work, they got us a Dyson fan and room was very comfortable within an hour.

A very comfortable stay , our room was spacious with great view of the river and Erasmus bridge . The water bus port right in front of the hotel if you want to see the windmill site .

Great stay the lovely Thon Hotel

Great location next to river. Very close to cruise port.Tram stop very close. Nice restaurant and bar. Other restaurants close by. Lovely spacious room with view on river. There is a lift. Coffee machine in room. Very friendly and helpful staff. I have to mention Tanya at reception going the extra mile with great, friendly service and kind assistance.

Everything was really amazing. If I must mention something here it is that the lady at the restaurant in the evening was not so friendly and that was all that was a little dissapointing.

Overall a good positive visit, despite some renovations going, on it did not spoil our stay.

EXCELLENT LOCATION, CENTRAL TO MAIN SHOPPING CENTRE. TRAMS STOP OUTSIDE HOTEL SO IDEAL TO TRAVEL AROUND CITY. WE STAY AT THE THON AT LEAST 2/3 TIMES A YEAR, IT CERTIANLY MEETS OUR NEEDS, THE STAFF ARE EXCELLENT, SOME OF WHICH WE KNOW FROM OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS. THE FOOD IS GOOD AND THE OVERALL SERVICE IS OF A HIGH STANDARD.

Overpriced - I wouldn't stay again.

Staff took out bags for us before check-in so we could go out and about. Beds were relatively comfortable. Staff were generally friendly and nice.

Overall, overpriced for what you get. Hotel is undergoing construction works during my stay. So in general, it looked like a construction site we were walking into. Whilst it was quiet over the weekend, the Monday morning was hammering and drilling which is ridiculous when you have guests paying to stay and sleep. Whilst I get works have to be done, the price should reflect this too which it didn't. Breakfast was horrible and extremely overpriced at €23 for some burnt eggs, beans and a sausage. It also felt like I was being rushed out as breakfast staff were trying to clean. Keep in mind, I was down 30 mins before breakfast finished. Room was dirty with other persons hair in bathroom, clearly not cleaned. Toilet paper was like sand paper. Room was small and not as per pictures. We were located in back, where people living in apartments across the yard could look in, so we couldn't have curtin open. Evident as one guy just kept staring at me until I noticed it on first night. Weird.

The location is excellent. Better than hotel New York, which is much more expensive. Easy access to harbor tours, public transportation and you can just walk downtown. Beautiful view of the bridge as well.

Bacon was undercooked at breakfast which is a problem. After mentioning it, chef got offended and told us to leave it alone. He insisted it was supposed to be like that. Minor problem but annoying. Everyone else was very accomodating..
