Overall more than decent place.

I had a one night stay; I just slept there and took a shower, it was fine. I didn't use breakfast facilities, so can't evaluate that. Close to Witte de Withstraat (dinner and drinks) and walking distance to city centre and the Erasmus University Hospital.

The airco couldn't go below 19 degrees Celsius, while the blanket was made of synthetic material and really warm.

Great hotel

I loved this hotel. It was beautifully designed, clean and bright with large windows. The location was excellent. The staff were always friendly but not intrusive. The hotel operated on a ‘helpful yourself’ system so it was easy to replace towels, toiletries, coffee, etc. Rooms cleaned on request.

There was only one small thing - the mirror in the bathroom was too high. I’m 5’ 2” and I had to stretch up on my toes to dry my hair

Easy to find with a comfortable bed

Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were able to walk with our suitcases about a mile to the cruise port for our trip.

View was of a wall and roof. There breakfast was an additional 17 Euros which seemed quite high.

Very nice location, the room is very modern and clean, bed comfy but the pillows where those very soft type that not everybody likes. Bath was clean

The view was not a view: the windows looked at a wall and a thrash bin, very clean tho. The shower was weird, I think that it's missing a door

Service was excellent - very nice and always eager to help - there for any questions we had. Even cooled wine and cheese we had to store for us. One day, the TV did not work so we got a free breakfast. That was very nice. Free drinking water, fruit and coffee. Loved that. Always walked to train station and the area is quite nice to get to many sights walking. AND: We could store luggage before check in and after check out which was also conveniant.

Breakfast quite expensive. Room towards main street (which is quite loud). In total seems more lush on the pictures but still absolutely fine. TV did not work.

Spacious and well designed rooms! Really nice mattress and all comforts. I really enjoyed also the availability of a water filter in the reception providing cool water (still and sparkling).

No phone or cable TV in the room. To contact from desk have to use their app and chat or go to the front desk. Mirror to high, step up & poor lighting in bathroom. Front desk not really helpful.

Everything was good! Staff is very friendly, the room was very good and the bed was very comfortable. Supermarket within a walking distance and bars and restaurants near by. We could leave our luggage there after checkout.

Very good central location, friendly staff add to your stay

Originally booked the last double room for my stay, which was in the basement. However earlier on my check-in day I received an email to say my room had been upgraded, so I was more than happy. I received the code for the entry door and the same one for my room, which was valid for the three days I was there. The guy on reception was really helpful explaining about the room service, doesn’t happen, but replacement supplies can be collected from the lounge cupboard. The room had everything needed, kettle and coffee machine, air con, nice bedding and as the hotel has only been opened three months everything is new and well maintained. There is a lounge plus dining/work area where coffee and iced water is available all day. Breakfast is a continental style, fairly basic but good value. The room was well insulated and the guests were quiet and no night noise. The location is really good, the tram is four stops from the central station and stops outside the hotel and the main museum - The Depot is ten minutes walk, Is is in a nice residential area

Definitely worth trying!

This was definitely one of the best experiences I've had staying at a hotel! It's not far from the beach and is conveniently located very close to the bus stop. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet. The rooms are clean and beautiful! Fully equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very kind and welcoming and helpful! Made me feel right at home. This is definitely the place to stay next time!

The staff and the location were excellent. The rooms were new and clean. Although our TV did not work it was efficiently fixed, a new room was allocated, and we were given free vouchers for breakfast. They are excellent in the category of this type of business model.

The TV did not work. The late check-in. The whole online process of verification was weird and annoying. Although the justification is that you do this at every hotel-- which is just not true. It made me check out the hotel as a business. Giving the real reason, which I suspect is part of their international business model -- would be better.

City trip

Great location. Near a metro station and a tram station, both of them go directly to the city center. Clean room. Free tea and coffee are available in the room.

My room was located in the open-air part of the hotel. So, when it rained, me and my luggage were directly exposed to the rain. There is no external protection above the room entrance door. This could be improved.

Great location and a great start to a new hotel.

The locations was great. Also liked that we were able to pick up our towels when needed rather than waiting on housekeeping. The bakery across the road was a major plus. This bakery is fantastic.

The Sonder pre-arrival verification process was a pain. It didn't work when I first tried. I spent an hour talking to their support staff who couldn't fix it. They told me to try in a few days. A week later the system was working. The self-serve concept should be better explained. An information sheet would have been helpful. This is a new hotel and the room had an iron and ironing board. This was a total waste of space as we had trouble hanging our coats in the remaining space..

Modern, but very complicated reservation

1. The whole pre-arrival registration process. 24 mails to and fro with requests for data, data and mote data, combined with the threat to cancel the reservation. Very annoying. 2. The key code for hotel and room. Had a reservation for two days, but the code was just valid for one day. After having been jogging on the morning of the second day, entry into the hotel was not possible because the code was expired. Absolute no-go. --> if you go digital, do it right!
