A nice resort but certainly did not exceed our expectations.

The gardens were lovely, pools, proximity to beach.

Beach and the amount of rubbish, pricing of food and drinks too high compared to other comparable resorts we have stayed at during this two week trip, beds were very firm and uncomfortable and some service delays on a few issues.

There was no compendium in room explaining how the hotel worked. What services available? Unless you went to restaurant you wouldn’t know about special events or meals.

I asked for a room near the pool, for my son and I. They gave us a Bungalow literally 10 metres from the pool. It was excellent! The buffet breakfast was the best I have ever had in all of my travels. We will definitely be back and recommend to our friends. Excellent location.

Great location and friendly staff

This hotel has many good things going for it. Was upgrade when we checked in which was a lovely surprise, Comfortable beds, friendly staff and great location for walking to nearby restaurants and shopping.

Whilst grateful for upgrade we were put in the far corner at the back of the resort which had a little traffic noise and was surrounded by smokers.

.The pool bar itself was good, however it would benefit from a better ambience, including atmospheric music and a stronger selection of bottles displayed behind the bar. Unfortunately, I was disappointed on four occasions when the bartenders did not include the full ingredients in the drinks that were ordered.

Perfect family holiday

The location meant that it was a short stroll to the beach and the Garlic Lane shops. Just outside the gates were a good range of places to eat. Breakfast at the Resort was amazing. The swimming pool had a towel service and the size of the towels were perfect for the pool. Customer service by all staff was so kind and friendly.

Location, fabulous spa where my mum, daughter & myself had an hour & 1/2 massage, great breakfast even though we didn’t book it with the room as we like to try different places we ate there twice. Lovely rooms & staff

Fantastic location, disappointed with reception service in accommodating our needs.

Staff around the resort were extremely friendly. Grounds were fantastic. Pool and surrounds were great, could always get a sun bed.

Very disappointed that we had to pay for an upgrade as the room we were put in was unacceptable, there was no balcony as shown in the photo when booking, no windows in the room and no chair to sit on other than the bed. This was my 2nd time staying at Legian Beach Hotel in two years so I was disappointed that this was the room they put a returning guest into. The rooms the other people in my party were allocated were excellent and were they exact same type of room. Also very unimpressed that staff just came into the room at 0830 to check mini bar whether we were in the room or not. Walked in on my niece who was alone and asleep in her room.

Not impressed at all

Spa area clean & helpful

I found the reception staff arrogant as if they were more elite than the customer. Concierge took my JBHifi bag which had pool products that needed repairs but I think they thought there were electronics inside weather someone else took it at the lobby car park where they are suppose to look after baggage or the personal decided to keep. Pool closes at 7 pm so to bad if you want to swim after a day of shopping or meetings.

Excellent - Loved every minute and we will certainly be back!

We stayed in the Premier Pool Villa - Loved that we were still a part of a Resort, but had privacy and our own pool when we wanted some more quiet time! The daily breakfast was amazing, and once again, we got the whole "resort" feel, but with the bonus of having our own Villa.

Nothing - we loved our time and we will certainly be back to Legian Beach Hotel - Funnily enough, once I got home, I was telling family about the holiday - we have been to Bail numerous times and for whatever reason, we had never stayed at Legian Beach Hotel - And I think it was because from the signage, I expected that it was for the surfing fraternity!!!!

The property was just wonderful very well maintained. We stayed in a deluxe bungalow. It was clean. The bed was so comfortable. The sheets were excellent and the towels the service was top-notch. I would definitely stay here again. The gardens were beautiful. The breakfast menu. There was lots to choose from as that was included in our price and the restaurants on the property were wonderful. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. I wouldn’t listen to the negative reviews.

Bloody great value! Best food in bali was a pleasant surprise.

Great location, very cheap meals and massages just outside the hotel entry. The inhouse massage spa was also very relaxing. Breakfast was great, fantastic cultural shows, loved being able to walk across the road to be on the beach. Pool was a warm temperature. Staff were lovely. Room had everything we needed, including international chargers. The 1 year old loved the pool and the little slide. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. We felt torn between eating inhouse and spending slightly more and enjoying some of the best meals I've ever had in Bali and getting still decent food outside the resort at 2/3 the price. It wasn't expensive, it just wasn't super cheap.

The resort double charged my card then said that they couldn't refund the money. Luckily we plan to return but if I never wanted to go back that would have been a real issue. I think I would have been a bit piffed if I stayed closer to the beach near the pool in one of the bungalows, just because of how frequently people are setting off fireworks and firecrackers all through the night. Luckily right at the back, where we stayed this wasn't an issue.

We loved the beautiful jungle type plant surrounding just beautiful. Staff were very friendly and greeted us with a happy hello every single time we saw them. Great location. Walkable to all the great restaurants and market shops etc. and we went to a few of the spas located directly next to the resort. Great buffet breakfast as well!! Sooo much to choose from!

Probably the only complaint I had and not everyone in my group thought this but I felt my mattress was way too hard. Honestly that’s probably the only complaint.
