Grand Istana Rama Hotel

How it was spread out & the Pool was really big & in a great location for the Hotel

The little Coffee/Cafe shop was not operational & the shop was only available by ringing the door bell for staff service & their was any activities for the adults with young children - maybe in the future

Location was great

Building work did not receive any communication about this until day before arrival

Staff are very friendly and helpful Location is great Presentation is great Tidy grounds

It was clean and a great location. The facilities are wonderful and the pool was beautiful.

We have travelled to Bali many times and what I thought this hotel lacked was the Bali hospitality that makes the stay so wonderful. We had a check in time of 1400 and came back to the hotel after alerting of arrival earlier and they had said the room wasn't ready and advised us to wait in the lobby and they will tell us when it's ready. 45mins passed and nothing we again asked the counter and were told the room was ready and gave us the key and said the room number. We were traveling in a group of two and advised us only one key per room which was painful! No directions given at all we walked around for a bit to try and find the room and just couldn't then to realize we were on the 3rd floor and we carried our bags up the stairs only to see there was a lift of which we didn't know existed at the end of the hallway outside the building. Then not to mention house keeping didn't come and when we arrived back late at night we had to call for water and dry towel. Just a little disappointing, it's the little things that make a positive or negative experience and these little things were a poor view of the hotel for us unfortunately.
