Disappointing experience

Great location, close to restaurants bars convenience stores

This hotel is run down and old, Air conditioning is poor, rooms smell musty, showers have an unbearable smell, mold stains on bedsheets and pillow cases and my kids slept on them, i specifically asked them to change sheets and pillowcase but they just made the bed and same pillow case was on. Had to change four different rooms, all had problems, too much noise, dogs barking, scooters passing by, 3rd floor pool was okay, rooftop pool had a very bad smell. Breakfast buffet had limited options, staff is nice and did their best to accommodate our needs. For this price you can get better hotel in same locality.

Cheap doesn't always mean good

If you want a hotel in a good spot, this is located in a good spot on Jl. Legian.

AC in room didn't work, was very loud at night time. No atmosphere around pool area. Drinks range limited at bar. Waited very long for drinks as they make them downstairs then bring them up an elevator and you have to pay as you go.

It's a scam. Everything is covered by mold, including the pillows. It should be closed. Check the reviews and photos on Google Maps, they're real.

The 3 rd floor pool, the highlight , but missing so many tiles on pool floor you ran risk of cutting your feet

I felt like i was in a dorm, room had odour, was tiny and it should be illegal to classify what I had as a balcony , a balcony. It was like an aerobics excercise to get your way around the bathroom, and the wrought iron gates to get into the section of the hotel that I was in made it feel like a prison, The breakfast was minimal and very ordinary . The staff were mainly reasonable but not anywhere near the same level at the hotel I had just had previously. Could not in clear conscience recommend this hotel to anyone . Far and away worst hotel experience I have ever had in Bali

Comfy but needs upgrading

Clean and pleasant room. We arrived from the airport late and planned on moving on in the morning so did not get to see the pool area however the staff were really friendly.

Bedroom could do with an update, very old and paint peeling etc. The bathroom definitely needs some tlc as the shower started up on its own in the night waking us up. Bed was comfy so that was the main bit. Across the road is a mini mart and I would say that the breakfast was basic but tasty for the price of it.

Disappointing

Breakfast was not catered to westerners. The “butter” was plastic tasting and inedible, the food available was Asian rice and meat - too heavy for breakfast.

The place was run down, leaking ceilings, no wifi and only 2 tv channels in English, bought a SIM card to stream movies but smart tv services blocked. Couldn’t have time out from the chaos of the streets 😢

Sucky place - better stays elsewhere for better price!!

Breakfast: ok - egg station, pancakes, fruit Beds: very wide (not very long), comfy enough Didn’t like much else

- Requested to be put in a room away from lane way. Was put right against the laneway with the noisy motorbikes. Lasted 2 nights and requested to be moved. They refused to put us in a superior ground floor room without paying extra (was NOT paying extra for this dump). They then moved us to another room, right against ANOTHER laneway, which had FIFTEEN (yep - 15, I counted) dogs barking at all hours of the night and morning. The new room light wasn’t working in the dressing area, TV was disconnected and safety deposit box wasn’t working. Requested for them to be fixed and took over an hour for someone to come. - Balcony is as wide as a size 8 women’s shoe, basically rude to even call it a balcony. - infinity pool (level 3) decking is so worn and old you’re guaranteed to get a splinter walking barefoot (which you kinda have to do when swimming) - pool “bar” at infinity pool sells Bintang and mocktails ONLY (with unfriendly service too). Not allowed to bring any other food or drinks to the pool area. - level 4 decking overlooking infinity pool just as worn. - “Spa” on level 4 not even open to be able to book any massages/treatments - Top floor (have to walk up stairs - elevator doesn’t get there) “bar” doesn’t even have a bar, and is completely unmanned - no towels or even toilets up there. No cover over the pool whatsoever. - checkout (6:30am) receptionist was fast asleep and took 3x attempts to wake him before he actually did. - room service closes at 10:30pm - breakfast finishes at 10am - got there AT 10am when food was still available and was told no, so had to go pay again for breakfast elsewhere. - Channels in English on TV play the same movies over and over - whole place is just not up to standard, has lots of potential but no one there cares - whole vibes weren’t great - none of that Bali love from staff, nothing to help feel welcome etc - pool views are NOT like the photos, not a single tree - all buildings - false advertising

Great location, needs some work

Location and price were great. Really close to multiple restaurants, laundry services, and shopping. Staff were fantastic.

Things to consider: At the time of our stay (end July 2025) there is demolition work of the hotel next door causing loud banging, workers yelling, and machinery noise all day. This was not listed on the property description. - The decking at the pool on level 3 needs replacing and is severely uneven, loose, and spongey. This is quite unsafe. - If you have mobility issues, there are no steps or rails to get into the pool, just a large step down. - The rooftop pool does not have shade and is approximately 40 - 50cm deep (good for kids if there was shade). - No alcoholic cocktails at this property only beer, mocktails, wine and single shot spirits. No coke zero or diet coke (even though diet coke on menu).

Everything was perfect. Staff always friendly. Rooms cleaned and fresh. Close too all shops . Convenient. They have water dispenser in the hall way which was so convenient. Loved our stay . We booked 3 rooms for 5 days. Best in Legain.

Room 406 was very noisy due to the neighbors dogs. They had like +-10 dogs on their property. Water would shut off on odd occasions. Maybe they were doing maintenance. But if we advised them they will sort out immediately.

The staff

The rooms were not clean. The floor was never mopped. The mould smell was very strong. The bathroom was very small especially when sitting on the toilet. The sheets felt wet when we arrived. The upstairs pool was dirty and had a yellow film on it so was not swimmable. The breakfast was not great.

Photos look nothing like the property now. Extremely outdated and needs to be updated on booking.com ASAP. The floor boards around the pool are broken, as are the tiles - it’s a lawsuit waiting to happen and is extremely dangerous. Staff had no urgency to attend to urgent matters such as our aircon breaking or obnoxious people yelling in the hallways at 1am in the morning - waking up more than 10 people. While this was an affordable stay, it was not as we expected and will never stay here again. Again, photos on booking.com are extremely old, and the hotel is now very very VERY run down.

We loved the location. Rooms were clean and comfortable and refreshed daily. All staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and always greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. We stayed 6 nights and was excellent value for money. We would definitely choose to stay here again, and will recommend to friends.

There's not much to dislike. The breakfast however was not too good. Not much of a selection but plenty of restaurants and cafes close by to choose from for a meal. Also would be handy if there was 2 room keys instead of just 1

The room was so massive and beautiful . I booked the suite. It's worth every penny.

My room 118 was very close to a side street and I could hear people shouting at night.
