Just the usual, no extra ordinary.
They should offer the breakfast as early as 6am coz most travellers need to go early for other itineraries.

Wonderful location. The waterfall view is remarkable. Friendly and helpful staff.
The ceiling in the room was a bit low, and as someone who’s 191 cm (6’3”), it was a little uncomfortable at times.

Beautiful property and location with amazing views of the surrounding mountains! It was located conveniently to restaurants, pubs, shops and the train with parking available if you bring a car. The owner and staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back!
I loved everything.

The people were extremely nice and helpful.
They let two men into our room without asking. They did not knock and came into our room and we were in there. They should have let us know they were coming to our room to check out measurements for the bathroom. Nobody should have been coming in our room unannounced. I was half dressed. They then proceeded to go into our bathroom. My binoculars went missing. It also was too hot and could not adjust the heat in the room. It was a horrible barn view out the window and it smelled bad. We could see the waterfall, but also had someone looking in our window.

The location was great. We had to park a ways away and we had to pay for parking. The rooms were comfortable with a good view of the waterfall. The common area was nice and we ate our dinner there. Breakfast was great! Easy check out.
The shower was great but there is mold on the ceiling over the shower. May need a stronger fan.

Excellently located.
The batroom, carpet and furniture could use an update.

The highlight was the location and co-operation from Ms. Lucy. It's a very peaceful and comfortable place to spend your family vacation. The breakfast spread is not huge but good. View of the valley and the fall can be seen from the room.

Fantastic view, to the main attraction, comfortable rooms, and great staff.
Breakfast was not rich enough.

Convenient. Anna was very friendly and helpful.
Parking isn’t easy. Either a public lot across a busy street, or behind the building which you have to be shown how to approach. The highest price of our trip.

Absolutely loved the owner. She takes pride in her place and her guests. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to lauterbrunnen. We enjoyed the breakfast that was included.

Great location right next to Staubbach falls and about a 10 min walk from the train station. The staff were exceptional and really made it feel like home. Beds were comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. Breakfast was homemade everyday with a great selection of breads, yogurts, meats, cheeses, and more. We would highly recommend Chalet Rosa to any friends or family coming to Lauterbrunnen in the future.
Pillows were a bit flat. The ceilings were low for my 190 cm husband so you need to watch your head if you are tall!

It was well located, rooms were tidy, good breakfast and well priced
A couple of extra pillows would have been good

The staff was just wonderful! The breakfast was excellent! We had a nice view of the falls from our room. Beds and bedding were divine! The room was super clean except the carpet that looked dirty to me.
The noise outside was constant all night so it was hard to sleep. The entry is not appealing and lovely. The carpets look dirty but might just be wear. I thought it was pricey considering these things.

Lovely host and a great breakfast! The room was clean and comfortable.
Our room was on the front so it was a little noisy. Closing the windows might be necessary. It’s also a few minutes walk from the train station but not bad

The location was wonderful. Loved the front patio with tables and chairs. A nice spot to eat and people watch.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable, and the breakfast was just OK. There seemed to be an issue with the orange juice, maybe spoiled.

Nice, homey feel. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Exceptionally clean.
It is on the busy main street but quieted down nicely at night. No tv in rooms, but that can be a plus.

This hotel offers an authentic Swiss chalet experience in the heart of the valley. The view of Lauterbrunnen village from the room window is stunning, and the location is ideal—just a short walk to restaurants, shops, and Staubbach Falls. The staff were very friendly and even helped us carry our luggage to the room.
Breakfast was good, with fresh fruits available.
While there was some street noise, it was manageable. The nearby church bells ring every 15 minutes, which was unusual for us, but we understand it’s part of the traditional Swiss Alps village charm.

The hostess, Anna, was very warm and welcoming. She was pleased to answer all of our questions. The property was at a good location, clean, and charming. The price was a good value. The breakfast was huge, with many choices. I would come here again.

Good view /
It is clear that everything is organized there to minimize the costs as much as possible while benefitting from high-demand due to the beautiful landscape. This place cannot be caked properly a hotel. Here below why:
- nobody at the check in despite arriving before closure of the check-in
- rude young staff wearing inappropriate clothing
- room door was very difficult to open and close: the lock must be changed asap since we spent at least 30min fighting to open it each time
- breakfast was very basic with supermarket entry-price economy food that doesn’t match with the clientele / no warm food at all
- breakfast, despite being just cold supermarket food on shelf closes at 9:30 so you’d better wake up early
- low ceilings
- poor ventilation, high humidity, room smells
- in the bathroom: supermarket shower gel and shampoo that could have been previous guests ones
- no clear boundaries for the property; one neighbor came to us the complain about tourism and even punched the window
- one shared fridge for the whole building

Breakfast was good. Location (near Staubbach falls and the train station and one cable car) was very convenient (although a bit over-run with tourists). Staff were pleasant.
The room was quite small and lacked even a kettle (although a kettle and microwave were available downstairs) and so we judged it very expensive (300 SFr/night in August) for what it was (beds and a bathroom, no real view). Internet was often extremely slow in the evenings, even for just loading a webpage. Surprised we had to pay 15 SFr/night for parking on top of the 300 for the room.

Nice big room, great central location, nice breakfast.
Right next to main road through Lauterbrunnen on a junction so quite noisy at night, even with windows closed.

Central location great for day trips. Close to the train station. Good variety for breakfast. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. We arrived early and they allowed us to leave our luggage on the premises and did their best to have our room ready early.
Room was a little small for the 4 of us plus our luggage.

I like everything including good service and hospitality from the owner.
I was given a waterfall view room and the view is so beautiful even at night as there are lights on at the waterfall. Me and husband love looking out from our window whenever we are back to our room.
Breakfast is good to me and healthier way although it's the same food served for the 2 nights stay.
Hairdryer provided in the room good for me as a travel light travellers.
Like the shared dining room with kettle and some tea sachets and instant coffee that we can chill out and have our food from the takeaway and Coop.

Nice area, close to the waterfall. The village is quite small so everything is central really.
Parking at the back of the house (not included).
Breakfast was ok but nothing fancy.
Would have liked lactose free options like milk and/or yogurt.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Anna, who was cheerful and delightful. She oriented us to Chalet Rosa and made us (myself and my 15 year old son) feel very welcome.
Our room was small, but very comfortable and more than sufficient. You don't come to Lauterbrunnen to sit inside after all!. Most of all our room was spotlessly clean.
The continental breakfast has an ample and high quality selection of food to start your day. Anna recommended the burger food truck up the road and it did not disappoint. We are very happy we spent two nights at Chalet Rosa!
Wifi seemed to disappear at some point overnight and come back at 8 am. It didn't matter too much to us, and we never asked why.

The hotel is well located, right in front of the main road, with paid parking available just outside. It’s a typical, older chalet with only a few rooms. The highlight of our stay was the kind and helpful staff—especially Gaby, who was very attentive and welcoming.
We stayed in a family room for four, which was quite small, and the bathroom could use some renovation. The room was carpeted and didn’t have air conditioning—just a small fan—which made it quite warm during the summer. There was also no refrigerator in the room, which would have been helpful.

Very near to staubbach falls. The host and staffs were very nice and accomodating plus there is complimentary coffe and tea station in the common room. Me and my family had a wonderful stay.
A walking distance from the train station so it was kinda hard for us who had 2 big luggage with 3 kids.
