My stay was a great success as I was in town on a quest to find family members & I did!

*it is close to the train station as I was walking, with luggage *Catarina was very welcoming, she used English as much as she could *Catarina and her dad, Pietro, were instrumental in my quest to connect with any distant family I might have in Sestri; they were an answer to prayers as I did connect with descendants of my great grandfather who immigrated to America from the area; Pietro voluntarily offered to show me to pertinent gravesites in the cemetery and even called someone he knew out of town for help when he could not find a gravestone he was looking for! *the breakfast foods available were very nice. *Sestri Levante is a quaint town with lots of choices for great food, lovely panoramic views of the shores that surround it and a great hike to Punto Manara.

*having 4 different keys in accessing the room was a bit daunting at first *I didn't know how to use the expresso machine-and hope I did not break it while trying! *the front door was a bit hard to find, very unobtrusive signage. *fluffier pillows would be nice

Excellent location, modern apartment

Located a stones through from the old town, lovely private balcony space (shared with 2 other rooms), access to a communal kitchen area where the owner left some fruit and other essentials. Free parking during our stay was a bonus. Modern furnishings, comfortable bed, good shower. Didn’t expect daily room service and towel change! The owner went over & above.

The internal walls & doors are quite thin, so you are aware of people coming in and out from the other 2 apartments.

Lovely town and property would definitely be back

Great location - not many steps to get there - clean & nice balcony. Air conditioning great and having a common area and kitchen was a bonus. Wifi not so strong. Lovely hosts.

Cute place, quiet, a short walk to the water front.

This property is an apartment with a shared living area, so you have the opportunity to relax in the living room area, and use the kitchen and dining area. That said, there were guests in one of the other bedrooms. This was not a drawback for us, but would’ve been nice to know that ahead of time. Comfortable bed, balcony off the bedroom, spacious bathroom. We had a very lovely stay here!

- Location, it was an easy to the main streets and to the beach - gated parking - the room has most of the amenities you need - storage was ample - cleaning was done daily - interior was modern

Very clean, spacious and well located.

The property is very well located 5 min away from the beach and all the restaurants. Our place was a unsuite room, really spacious and clean. Very modern with air con and a nice balcony. There is also parking which is great! The owners where very nice and helpful. I believe they have bigger places with kitchen that is great for families.

The room is all new and the bathroom are cleaned every day. The A/C works perfectly.

The property was listed on Booking as a Bed and Breakfast when we booked it, but it’s actually a room rental. This means that you are renting into a room of a normal apartment and you also don’t have access to a kitchen or nothing of the matter. It’s basically like an hotel without the advantages of a hotel. The staff is unfriendly, rude at times. As soon as we got there, we asked about the breakfast and we were told that because of COVID there was no breakfast: the host also said “c’era scritto, eh” (it was written), but that’s not the entirely true. The text on Booking says that breakfast MAY be suspended, but COVID doesn’t prevent you from providing some snacks in the room (at least there was some tea). The day before checking-out, we were woken up by the owner who got confused on our checkout date and thought that we were leaving that day. They asked us about our data, that we provided through Booking and then disappeared. We had to call her in the evening to know how checkout was going to work. No chance of setting an actual time, they just said “sono qui” (I’m here). The day after, we wanted to check-out and they weren’t even there for us. The cleaning lady had to call them. When they came, they were confused about our payment method and, when I was trying to explain we already paid online, they interrupted me with “stai calmo” (calm down), which I find very rude and definitely not something I would tell paying customers. Even though the room was clean and generally well kept, the bathroom door lock didn’t work (the handle was broken) and the shower drain filter was clogged up. Considering the area, we would’ve also expected some anti-mosquitoes sprays: there were two, one of them was empty and the other one didn’t seem to work.

Very nice place, close to city center. Stuff (owner ?) was very kind and helpful, nothing was problem. We had a minor problem with the reservation, but it was solved very quickly to our satisfaction.

The staff was very helpful throughout the stay - they helped us organising our luggage arrival and departure as we were not there. The rooms were clean and had a very nice balcony. Located just a few walking minutes to the main pedestrian street.

No A/C due to Covid-19, which they told me is a national thing, but in the hotel of a friend of mine they had an A/C. Too bad you can‘t use the kitchen!

Posizione a due passi dal centro di Sestri Levante, raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti. Stanza e bagno molto comode e pulite. Si nota da tante piccole cose l'attenzione per l'ospite. Molto comoda l'area comune con possibilità di fare colazione.

Camere nuove, curate e molto pulite. Posizione ottima a due passi dal centro. Struttura arredata con gusto, compresi gli spazi comuni

Colazione praticamente inesistente. Eccessiva rigidità nell’orario di check in, nonostante ampio preavviso (siamo arrivati alle 20 e i proprietari abitano nella porta accanto). Nessuna flessibilità nell’uso del parcheggio dopo il check out, nonostante fosse vuoto. Nessuna concessione (abbiamo dovuto lasciare 3 bici da corsa in auto), in pratica sembrava gli facessimo un favore, ci siamo sentiti tollerati anziché ospitati.

Posizione vicino al centro e posto auto incluso nel prezzo è sicuramente un plus. La struttura mette anche a disposizione il necessario per una colazione fai-da-te molto apprezzata. La camera è spaziosa e pulitissima

Il materasso era davvero troppo molle, si sprofondava. Inoltre la camera matrimoniale ha due letti singoli uniti. Sono abituata a leggere la richiesta "matrimoniale/letti singoli" in fase di prenotazione ma in questo caso non c'era.

Gut geführt, sauber, sehr geräumig mit grossem Balkon. Bequemes Bett, ruhig. Kleines Frühstücksangebot. Auf Sicherheit wird gut geachtet.

Videoüberwachung im Gemeinschaftsraum, wurde aber erklärt. Wenn alles mit feierlustigen Personen belegt wäre, könnte dies störend sein.

Opzione ideale a Sestri Levante

Questo hotel è un appartamento grande, molto piacevole, tranquillo e ben arredato. Si trova vicino alla baia di silenzio e alla baia delle favole a soli 10 min a piedi. La stanza che ho prenotato aveva un balcone con vista panoramica, perfetto per rilassarsi con una tazza di caffè mattutino. È l’opzione ideale sia per la vacanza al mare che il turismo della natura.

Super Zentral gelegen. Geschützter Parkplatz gleich hinter dem Haus. Sehr ruhig und schön eingerichtet. Kaffeemaschine und Kuchen standen standen zur Verfügung.

Bel appartement digne d'un hôtel 4 étoiles.

Pour infos ce n'est pas un hôtel mais plutôt un Rbnb avec 4 chambres et salle d'eau WC individuel. Salon tres belle terrasse en commun. Parking privé qui ferme la nuit. De plus café thé fruits biscottes gâteaux confiture à compris dans le prix. Pour visiter les 5 terres le train est à 600 mètres à pied donc c'est idéal

Ruime kamer en badkamer. Onze kamer had direct toegang tot een heerlijk en ruim terras. Er was een gemeenschappelijke keuken en woonkamer (gedeeld met 3 kamers). Het was erg schoon en een betere locatie zou je je niet kunnen wensen.
