A total experience worth more than the 4 stars they have

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. We loved the authentic charm, the splendid location, and most of all the excellent and heart warming service of the staff. The people of the front desk took care of our flat tire, releasing us of all our worries. Francesco, the maître d’hôtel, and his team served us breakfast and dinner with the excellence of a three star restaurant, sprinkled with lots of Italian charm and playfulness. The dinners at the Vistamare restaurant are exceptionally delicious - the chef has golden fingers!

Delightful Experience!

The hotel is in a great location, the staff is the most professional and friendly that you could wish for, you really feel home! The dining experience, at the Vistamare, is, in lack of better words, sublime: chef Andrea Mancini is incredibly talented, we had the best fois gras ever, a sublime dish as all the others we tried. You must taste his food! The maitre Francesco made anything possible to make our dinner even more memorable, together with Simone, who served all the dishes with class and knowledge. Last, but not least, we thank Angelo, the bartender, who prepared a perfect drink for our outstanding chocolate dessert, sprinkled with a great rosemary essence he had made. And should not forget a delightful breakfast, sitting ourside, in a terrace facing the Bay of Silence! So , all in all, Helvetia offers an out of this world experience, that you will never forget! Thank you!

Fabulous! Great location! Fantastic view!

We liked everything! Great location, fantastic view! The staff is great, the service is fabulous! The guys took the headache away of parking of our car, offloaded luggage and took it to our room! The room was clean, airy and bright! We will definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return.

Relaxed luxury in a beautiful setting.

Absolutely recommendable :-) lovely hotel, really nice staff, relaxed atmosphere, nice food and a very chilled beach bar. cute little bay in walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Not much not to like. Could be cool with a relaxed dinner option at the amazing rooftop, best view ever a shame not to expand this option.

Perfect romantic getaway

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. It's one of my favourites in Italy to stay! The staff are incredibly attentive and helpful. Breakfast is fantastic. The room and bathroom are renovated beautifully. The pool area and roof top bar are also great. It was the perfect getaway spot and I wish we stayed longer.

I wish the restaurant was open Wednesdays. That's the only thing I'd say

Great location; Fantastic view around! Quiet; great pool area; private beach in front; beach bar. Nice Personal. Close to city and old part of town; walking distance to railway station for chinque terre. Hotel Personal parks car in garage nearby.

At sunset we wanted to enjoy a cocktail at roof garden bar! Great view. But only at sunset all drinks cost 20EUR; thats a little very expensive; e.g. a child takes an fruit juice 20EUR??? Thats not OK; its too expensive; I have told this to Chief. So we decided to enjoy the drink at orher location. But thats the only real small critic.

Location and facilities. Breakfast is delicious. View is gorgeous. Perfect location to visit Cinque Terre. You can leave the car at the hotel.

We had a standard double room. The bathroom in a double room is small. Even if the door of the room is closed, you hear the noise in the hallways and sometimes the noise in the room next to yours. If we would stay in this hotel again, we would choose for an upgrade (of two). Not everyone of the staff can put on a smile or be friendly when serving diner in the evening if it is busy.

10/10! Hotel Helvetia was absolutely perfect! The hotel staff was extremely kind and the service amazing. Special thanks to Gianmichele for arranging our engagement at the hotel! It was an unforgettable experience. Nothing beats the view from the hotel! Private beach with beach bar and only 2min walk to the main street with all the restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel! Will definitely stay here again!

An incredible stay!

Fantastique vue et très bel hôtel pour passer un séjour exclusif

Fantastique emplacement avec une belle vue de la plage entourée de ses maisons colorées. Chaque recoin a été utilisé et décoré avec goût. Possibilité de prendre un apéritif sur la terrasse en roof top ou les repas sur la jolie terrasse en surplomb de la route. piscine charmante sur deux niveaux et bénéficiant de la vue sur la plage. Accès à une plage privée pour les clients de l'hôtel: transats sympa, du petit matériel de snorkeling mis à dispo, ainsi que des planches de paddle. Très bon petit-déjeuner. personnel sympathique et pro.

Heerlijk hotel, prachtige locatie.

Heel fijn hotel, zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, gratis welkomstdrankje, auto werd voor ons geparkeerd (moet ook wel, er is geen ruimte rondom hotel). s avonds ook nog nieuwe handdoeken en een flesje water op je nachtkastje. De locatie is prachtig. Heerlijk zwembad en strandje voor de deur. Je loopt zo het centrum in. Was echt fantastisch.

Je schrikt even dat je de auto niet kwijt kan, maar dan merk je snel dat het allemaal geregeld wordt voor je. Wel tegen betaling parkeerkosten, maar dat is het waard.
