Oasis of tranquillity, run by very kind people

It was a very well-kept B&B. It was immediately clear that the family ran it with great care and love. They were also always willing to accommodate their guests' requests, such as our request for plant-based breakfast options or making a reservation at a local restaurant. The train station was within short walking distance, making Cinque Terre, Portofino, etc. easily accessible.

The shortest route on foot to the city (15 minutes) was along a busy main road. If you wanted to avoid this busy road to get to the city, it takes you almost half an hour on foot.

Brilliant Location to visit nearby Portofino and Cinque Terre.

A great hotel, nice oasis not nearly as far out of the main town as i had read. It was a nice walk into and out of Town taking between 15 and 20 minutes. A great coffee shop close by which wax open from 5am until 10pm which was buzzy, friendly and great value. The perfect hotel, with great staff for visiting nearby places such as Portofino, Cinque Terre, Genoa and Pisa....we found some great restaurants thanks to the hotels recommendations.

I would have preffered different pillows, but its s tiny thing compared to how good everything else was.

It’s new, very nicely set-up, super clean. The owners were lovely, friendly, and so helpful!

The location is not ideal because a bit far from the city center and the walk towards it isn’t particularly nice. I wish the drinks and food prices were more transparently displayed. As many commenter, the breakfast is fine but could be a less pastry and more savory stuff.

Cozy, clean, well designed and welcoming

Buffet style breakfast with coffee, juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt and pastries as well as eggs or omelets made to order. All so delicious! Family run small hotel. The hosts were kind welcoming and so helpful. The property itself is immaculately clean and beautifully renovated with lush landscaping and a sparkling pool. We stayed with our 8 & 6 year old kids and found the walk into town just about as far as they could go but they managed all week to walk down to the beach and back and then again for dinner. If you have younger kids you would definitely need a stroller. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff.

We loved how beautiful and new the hotel was, and how friendly the staff were. The hotel is about 10 mins from the centre, so it is more peaceful location. The breakfast was excellent, with the best fresh croissants we've ever had.

Lovely stay in Sestri Levante

Really lovely place to stay. The pool was lovely and it was a bonus that it was outside our room.. Room was a good size and very clean. The staff were great too and made the stay very enjoyable. Very quiet too.

Perfection!

Everything - the welcome and exceptional service throughout our stay, the room, the cleanliness, the pool area, the bar service / drinks and snacks. I cannot fault anything about this place and I’m very fussy.

Nothing to say, there was no negatives. This family so an exceptional job with a true 5 star service. They work extremely hard to provide this to their guests.

Lovely memorable holiday in soaking up a taste of Italy on a relaxing break.

Lovely boutique hotel with nice outdoor space and pool. Great breakfast and an option of taking lunch at the hotel too with the family running the hotel happy to accommodate dishes, especially for young children.

Nothing really, the location offers quietness but is a little bit of a walk when strolling back after dinner.

Best place to stay if you visit the region!

Very well maintained and high quality property. The owner family is very helpful and extremely nice! Beautiful breakfast and good advice from the owners on where to have dinner or where to visit the beaches. The location is perfectly located, away from any noise but close to the city centre by car or by foot. Also easy to reach Cinque Terre!

We had an amazing stay at Il Canneto. It’s a beautiful place with a relaxed atmosphere. Giorgia and the team were extremely kind and attentive, ensuring we all had a great time. Breakfast was delicious too. Everything has been designed perfectly and you can tell a lot of care and attention goes in to the upkeep of the place. All facilities were comfortable and very clean, looking new. Our six-year old LOVED the pool and the outside space especially. I would highly recommend to people of any age.

Beautiful place, lovely owners, and absolutely loved Sestri Levante

Gorgeous place to stay and the owners were lovely

It was our choice and it is where it is but I guess it is a little out of town. Whilst we like walking, it is uphill from town and the station and no taxis around to speak of which may not suit everyone, particularly walking uphill from the station with luggage on a hot day. Minor point is that there were tea making facilities in the room but not coffee. But these are tiny tiny little things, it was fabulous.

What a lovely find! The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms and decor were beautifully done, the pool was so nice, and the breakfasts were very generous. Staying here felt like being part of the family and we will certainly stay here again.

We had a great stay at II Canneto. The hotel is new, clean and very pretty. The hosts are super nice and friendly. They were always there to provide any support if needed. As a pleasant surprise, a delicious breakfast was served every morning. Very satisfied and highly recommend the place.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this charming hotel in Italy. The family owners have lovingly restored the building, maintaining its traditional feel, which adds to the overall character of the place. The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the lovely family who run the hotel made our experience truly special. They went out of their way to suggest wonderful activities in the area, enhancing our visit. The highlight for me was the delicious home-cooked food that was served. Every meal was a treat, and it felt like a genuine taste of Italian hospitality. Our stay in the junior suite felt incredibly homely and comfortable, making us feel like part of the family. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in the Sestri Levante area. Excellente expérience dans un lieu charmant

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé, la famille qui gère l’établissement est adorable, toujours à disposition pour répondre aux questions et l’endroit est magnifique. La chambre était très agréable, propre avec une jolie terrasse. La piscine et le jardin sont parfaits pour un séjour au calme. Nous recommandons à 100% et allons sûrement revenir dès que possible !

Heerlijk genoten bij deze familie

Geweldig mooie accommodatie, zeer verzorgd, geweldige familie die je het voor 200% naar de zin wil maken. Van het ontbijt, tot de lunch, naar de heerlijke borrel. En dat in een hele mooie omgeving en het zeer sfeervolle Sestri Levante.

Ottima struttura, camere moderne, belle ben tenute e pulite. La colazione fantastica, soprattutto le torte fatte in casa. Inoltre la piscina molto bella con sdraio comodissime. Un'oasi a Sestri. Parcheggio gratuito comodo.

Rolig og fint sted. Hyggelig personale. God lunch - spesielt gnocchien. Fin gåavstand til sentrum av Sestri Levante og togstasjon.

Mislikte ingenting, men; Kaffe (påfyll) skulle vært mer tilgjengelig. Kjøleskap på rom fungerte ikke. Fikk ikke bestilt vanlig taxi der.

Mooi hotel met een fijn zwembad! Zeker een aanrader!

Het zwembad en de bar die er aan grenst waren super fijn! Ook de familie die het hotel runt was erg vriendelijk!

Het bed was instabiel. Hierdoor schoof hij over de vloer en kraakte die heel erg. Ook waren er wat weinig ligbedjes bij het zwembad.

Eine absolute Wohlfühladresse. Modern und gastfreundlich.

Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich. Besonders Gio und Ema waren immer anwesend und sehr hilfsbereit in allen Belangen. Das Zimmer und Bad sind modern und ansprechend ausgestattet. Der Balkon sehr angenehm. Der sehr schöne und moderne Pool mit ausgezeichneten Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirmen ist ein besonderer Genuss. Das Frühstück ist eher mit süßen Speisen ausgestattet, aber es gibt die Möglichkeit individuell Eiergerichte zu bestellen, die frisch zubereitet werden. Die Qualität des Frühstücks war hervorragend. Obst, Gebäck etc. frisch und sehr appetitlich.

Leider war das Doppelbett etwas zu schmal um komfortabel zu sein. Im Bad wäre eine Ablagefläche unter dem Waschtisch wünschenswert und könnte recht einfach angebracht werden. Auch extra Haken für Handtücher wären sinnvoll. Der Weg abends zu Fuß in die Altstadt ist besonders bei Hitze nicht empfehlenswert. Ca. 30 Minuten Fußmarsch entlang einer viel befahrenen Straße. Mit dem Auto auch keine gute Alternative, da Parkplätze im Zentrum absolute Mangelware sind. Wir hatten jedoch durch Ema einen hervorragenden Kontakt zu einem Taxifahrer ( Claudio), der uns für einen erträglichen Preis fuhr. Eine ideale Lösung.

Perfekt boende för en avkopplande semester

Fantastiskt mysigt familjehotell där vi blev varmt omhändertagna med god frukost, lunch och drinkar i baren. Lugnt och tyst läge på lagom avstånd ner till stan. Vi kommer tillbaka.

Zwembad was heerlijk en we konden zo vanuit onze kamer het zwembad in. Mooie kamers super bed en schoon.

Het zat een beetje op industrie terrein dus ‘s ochtends was het wat druk met langs rijdende auto’s .

Sestri Levante est un paradis sur terre. Proche des cinque Terre et tellement joli

Il Canetto est un adorable lieu pour passer quelques jours à Sestri Levante. A seulement 10 minutes à pied du centre de Sestri, il est tenu par Ema et Gio qui sont des personnes extrêmement sympathiques et serviables. C'est un petit paradis avec quelques chambres toutes réalisées avec goût donnant sur une jolie piscine qui se trouve dans un jardin très bien entretenu et joliment décoré. Le petit déjeuner est servi sous un patio qui peut s'ouvrir lorsqu'il fait doux et beau.

RAS... Tout me semblait savamment réfléchi et bien réalisé. Le petit déjeuner pourrait avoir un petit peu de charcuterie et fromages de la région.

Meravigliosa struttura a conduzione familiare che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa! Struttura nuovissima e molto curata, piscina meravigliosa e stanze super belle! Heerlijk verblijf!

De B&B zag er mooi en verzorgd uit, de familie die het runt is zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam. De kamer ziet er netjes en schoon uit. Het ontbijt ziet er heel verzorgd uit en eitjes worden vers voor je bereid. Bij een drankje ‘s middags krijg je gratis snacks. De hele familie werkt hard mee en wil het de gasten naar de zin maken. Deze B&B is echt een aanrader!
