Really good base for visiting Sestri Levanti and surrounding area.

Lovely friendly and helpful lady greeted us on arrival. Room was quiet, bed comfy and nice shower room. There is a little balcony if you want to sit outside and even a little washing line for swimming stuff etc. Breakfast is included and was very good indeed. Great selection of cheese, ham, eggs, little cakes etc. There is safe street parking right outside. Easy to walk to beach, restaurants, shops etc. Altogether brilliant base in Sestri Levanti.

The hotel is very close to the train station as well as the restaurants and the beach. Breakfast was very good and fulfilling. Staff was very nice. The room was clean and cosy with a nice balcony.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Very good value for money. The woman at the reception was very friendly and helpful. Good place to stay for a night. Parking is not a big problem as you can park to unload your car and put your car at 5 minutes walking.

The women at the breakfast seems to have a problem with a morning “mood”. A pity because the women at the reception are very friendly.

Pleasant decor in communal areas

When arrived at hotel, there was no “welcome” - I got “you’re 1 person, why did you book a double?” - simple - because that’s what I wanted and paid for! I would hate to have seen how small a single was - the double was so cramped and small - nowhere to place luggage & the lovely “balcony to sit outside” turned out to be a view over a roof, looking onto a wall! I was on the 1st floor - I could hear the people walking around upstairs, talking & tv’s. I paid EU18 for dinner - but was not served the 5 courses the other guests received - I think I got the staff meal - the soup was nice but the main and dessert was the worst meal I have had in 2 weeks in Italy. I had to ask for the air conditioning to be put back on. When other people showered, the noise came through my shower drain. I understand it is end of season but I felt like an unwanted guest. Couldn’t wait to get out of there - I went and sat at a station coffee shop for 3 hours rather than sit and wait in the room.

La posizione

Avrei apprezzato un piccolo sforzo per poter cenare in struttura essendo arrivata dopo 5 ore di treno alle 2050, anche se la cucina chiudeva alle 2030. Sarebbe andato bene anche un piatto freddo pur di non dover uscire per cercare un posto qualsiasi dove mangiare. Inoltre la stanza singola era talmente piccola da non avere uno spazio dove poter aprire il trolley da cabina.

Nell'insieme tutto bene ma non rientra nei miei futuri soggiorni

Buona colazione e si poteva ordinare cibo caldo, ottimo caffè, bagno difficile da chiamare bagno talmente piccolo. Aria condizionata buona e camera silenziosa, cuscini duri da cervicale, televisore inutile in una posizione da non accendere mai. Ascensore perfetto.

Nell'insieme il posto è molto pulito. I gestori sono stati gentilissimi. Ci hanno aiutati nel gestire i bagagli pre- e post-checkout. Ci hanno consigliato dove parcheggiare e nel complesso sono stati molto disponibili. L'hotel è a poco più di 5min a piedi dalla spiaggia.

La colazione è buonissima, potrebbe essere leggermente più diversificata, ma nel complesso non mi è dispiaciuta.
