Great location, hotel slightly dated.

Great location with a beautiful terrace facing the beach and the sea. Spacious room.

Had to queue for breakfast. The staff was very rude. And the coffee arrives after 30+ minutes after we finish eating.

Sestri Levante is beautiful place

The beach was awesome! Staff in the reception, especially the females were very helpful.

Attitude of staff in the dining room for breakfast. We understand the hotel is fully booked and breakfast is busy, but friendlier staff will make a big difference for the overall stay in the hotel

Overpriced for a old hotel with no recent upgrades Grumpy old waiter in breakfast room seemed intent to take away the buffet food before breakfast time finished. One morning I asked him where had the fruit gone and he glared at me - it was 9:45am & breakfast was until 10am!!

Exceptional comfort, location and services! Highly recommend

We stayed at Miramare for three nights, celebrating my mother’s 90th birthday. The location of the hotel is outstanding, in a very picturesque bay of the Liguria coastline. the rooms were very spacious, actually more like small apartments. The rooftop rooms are modern large lofts. everything was comfortable and we slept very well, waking up to the sound of the waves. Breakfast was of excellent quality and variety and we enjoyed chatting with Angelo, one of the chief waiters. We had lunch at the “La baia del silenzio” restaurant located in the hotel and it was delicious. We had a lovely time at the spa- the management found a way to allow protected time for large groups with children, so not to disrupt the quiet for other guests. We purchased several types of treatments at the spa and the manager Cristina and the estheticians Martina, Paola and Julia were professional, skillful and kind. The hotel is located right on the beach and still in the middle of the town, so we had a large choice of dining options. I warmly recommend hotel Miramare- a rare gem of old-style hospitality with a modern touch.

The price of beach beds per day is an outrageous 40 euro.

Beautiful hotel historical hotel with a very nice staff

Beautiful hotel, clean and very well equipped bathroom, comfortable bed. The staff was very nice. Everything went smoothly. The breakfast is great. The beach is 5 steps from the reception.

We stayed on the 4th floor which is basically part of the roof. Right next to our door the roof was full of seagulls and they were very noisy in the morning. I think it can be heard already on the 4th (top) floor so try to ask for a room on another level and you will see no problem. :)

A good option while in Sestri Levante

The hotel is located right at the Silent bay and has great views if you are on the ocean. The bar has an outside deck that is perfect for after work relaxing. The room was upgraded on check in to a two bedroom suite that was comfortable and cool for sleeping. I also took advantage of the spa service to overcome some travel pains. Overall a very recommended place to stay.

Fantastic spot in lovely, peaceful Setri Levante!

Loved the town and location and best of all, the sea view. The staff was great!!!!

Some parts of the property were a bit tired, like the carpets. In our room, the towel dryer was broken, the door stubbornly rubbed against the floor, and one of the toilet flushers did not work.

Too expensive, poor quality

We really liked the staff, they were helpful and attentive, and the room was spacious.

The rest of the hotel was in a very poor state! 1. Parking is an additional charge: €30.00 per day , which is not on site 2. Umbrellas and chaise lounges are also an additional charge of €30.00 per person, which you are told after you book the hotel. 3. The beach is small and the water has an algae, which makes it look dirty and uninviting. 4. The hotel is in a poor condition. 5. Seaview rooms are in the attic and there is no view, unless you look out of the Velux window in the roof. Very disappointed especially for the prices, which we paid for the hotel!

christy in the spa and a few of the bar staff are wonderful it’s the only thing going for this place. the location is decent

the AC is terrible they had to bring a portable unit to the room which meant you had to leave the door open. the staff are rude especially the old men at breakfast. the food is blah the water in front of the hotel is gross, there’s floating algae the sand is brown. don’t be fooled by the pictures. the town is ok not much. I won’t go again.

Room with sea view and private terrace (108), nice restaurant on the beach

water on beach not very clean, beach chairs reserved, even if nobody came. beach staff not always very friendly, missing some water equipment like pedalos, canoes, etc. just 1 sup. missing a personal just, like a welcome of manager/owner
