Amazing location, right in the Altstadt and 1 minute away from everything. There is a parking lot only 3 min away, which was very handy. The flat was very pretty and cozy, very clean as well. We didn't miss anything, it was very well equipped. I would recommend it 100%.

There was only a bed cover instead of bedsheets, which we were a little confused about, but we had a sheet, so it was okay.

Great location but facilities could be updated

The location is wonderful right in the centre of town. The style of the flat is really appealing, with dark beams and small cupboards making it very quirky and traditional. The host was incredibly kind and amenable and did help us out when we needed.

The door and lock is far too stiff and confusing to open - we spent a long time trying to turn it what turned out to be the wrong way because it's so tough on both sides. For anyone else trying - turn to the right and pull the door as hard as you can towards you! It's also a shame to have a sofa bed - there's easily enough space for a small double as well as a sofa if you really needed one. The shower was not ideal.

The location of this property is perfect. It's about 30meters from the beautiful market square and river. The host was readily available by phone and provided clear instructions about how to access the property.

The lock on the door is extremely stiff and I struggled to open it by myself.

Es war ein perfektes Wochenende.

Die Unterkunft ist fußläufig vom Markt nur 2 Minuten entfernt. Ich war mit Freunden hier wegen des Weihnachtsmarktes. Es war toll, die Unterkunft hat alles was man braucht. Jeder hatte sein Zimmer, wir konnten alle gut schlafen, Küche und Bad, top! Die Vermieter auch ganz toll, haben uns alles vorab genau beschrieben auch wegen parken und so und mich sogar telefonisch kontaktiert nach unserer 1. Nacht weil sie wissen wollten ob alles gut sei. Kann ich nur empfehlen hier und werde und würde immer gerne wieder kommen.

Perfect!

Huisje pal in het centrum van Monschau gelegen. Ideaal om het stadje en de omgeving te verkennen. We kregen op voorhand duidelijke instructies over de bereikbaarheid, parkeerplaats, ... waardoor het helemaal geen probleem was dat er geen parkeergelegenheid aan de accommodatie zelf was. Dit verliep allemaal heel vlot! Parkeerplaats is ook vlakbij. We gingen tijdens de periode van Halloween, de eigenaar had het huisje versierd, er lagen maskertjes en een snoepje voor de kinderen. Een leuke attentie, bedankt hiervoor! Huisje is ook van alle gemakken voorzien: toiletpapier, gerief om af te wassen, handdoeken, peper, zout, ... Kortom, alles aanwezig voor een aangenaam verblijf!

Voor ons was alles naar ons zin!

La casa era muy acogedora y tenia todo lo que necesitabamos.

Lo peor el baño quizás. Las toallas olían un poco a humedad y el agua se salia de la ducha por debajo de la mampara.

Super verblijf voor een hele redelijke prijs

Zeer aardige en behulpzame eigenaren. Ik had een paar vragen en die werden zeer snel en correct beantwoord. Overal was goede elektrische verwarming, geen overbodige luxe. Hygiene overal zeer netjes. In keuken in open kastjes over bestek en borden liggen theedoeken om af te dekken. Lokatie is ook hartje centrum dus perfecte uitvalbasis voor reatuarant, cafe en bezienswaardigheden letterlijk om de hoek. Ook de instructiemail bij aankomst was zeer uitgebreid en waardevol. T/m uitleg over parkeergelegenheden (niet onbelangrijk en noodzakelijk). Bij aankomst kwam de eigenaar even kennismaken. Ook aanbod om bij vragen gewoon contact op te nemen. Uitstekend geregeld allemaal!

Het was wat frisjes in huis (oktober), maar dat kan haast niet anders gezien het monumentale pand. Gelukkig zijn er ook genoeg goed werkende moderne straalkacheltjes in alle ruimtes om het behaaglijk te maken.

Eine wirklich schöne Stadt mit toller Kulisse, aber absolut überlaufen von Touristen.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und stilvoll eingerichtet und liegt mitten im Stadtzentrum mit einem großartigen Blick auf die Ruine. Es ist alles vorhanden, was eine Ferienwohnung braucht. Die Wohnung ist groß und sauber, hat aber richtig steile Treppen, was auch irgendwie urig ist. Darüber hinaus gibt es tolle Wanderwege und grandiose Aussichten auf Monschau. Zu empfehlen sind Wanderungen mit Führung durch das Brackvenn an der nahegelegenen Grenze zu Belgien.

Die Parksituation ist unerträglich! Wir sind am 1. Mai mittags angekommen und es gab im gesamten Ort keinerlei Parkplätze mehr. Nachdem wir eine Stunde versucht haben, irgendwo das Auto abzustellen, haben wir weit außerhalb auf der Bundesstraße geparkt und das Gepäck in die Innenstadt geschleppt, in der es sehr viele Treppen gibt. Das mag romantisch klingen, war bei 25 Grad aber gar nicht lustig. Das war sehr anstrengend und unbefriedigend, vor allem so ohne Vorwarnung. Wir mussten zweimal eine Strecke von etwa 800m und so einigen Höhenmeter zurücklegen. Auch in den Folgetagen waren die Parkhäuser hoffnungslos überfüllt und in den Innenstadtstraßen gab es kaum ein Durchkommen und keinen Platz in den Restaurants. Der angegebene Garten, der zur Wohnung gehört, ist leider sehr ungepflegt, zudem an einem offiziellen Spazierweg und bietet keinerlei Sichtschutz. Dort mochten wir jedenfalls nicht sitzen, war etwas zu öffentlich.

Heerlijk lang weekend in een prachtige omgeving en in een gezellig en comfortabel appartement.

Het appartement heeft een prachtig uitzicht op de tuin en over de stad en is direct bij het stadscentrum gelegen. Het is de perfecte uitvalsbasis om de stad en de omgeving te verkennen. Knus ingericht en genoeg ruimte (aparte woonkamer, keuken en slaapkamer).

Für eine Nacht eine hervorragende Unterkunft.

Das Bad Ist recht neu. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Kaffee Kapseln, Teebeutel, Kakao, Zucker, Salz, Pfeffer, etc. Obwohl die Wohnung recht klein ist, stehen zwei Schlafmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war ausgesprochen nett. Die Lage war ein absolutes Highlight: man war ruckzuck am Restaurant und quasi auf dem Eifelsteig, der direkt am Haus entlang führt.

Leider riecht die Wohnung etwas muffig. Das mag am alten Gemäuer liegen.
