Renovated (historic) home in the heart of the village. Very comfortable. Very convenient.
Lovely home, well suited for a family. Great location with the whole village within walking distance. Arrived quite late at night, but key was available through a lockbox - very convenient. Very friendly host, who checked in to see if all was good. We had a lovely stay.

The only feedback is the shower/bath is on the top floor, and the stairs do not have hand rails, so guests must be very careful.

Excellent location in unique, historical home
We had an enjoyable stay at Haus Lupin-2 adults and a teenager. The haus was clean, cozy & conveniently located in historic downtown Monschau with numerous restaurants, cafes, bakeries, shops (1-3 minutes walk). The host, Mia was very responsive to all my queries. The home has all the essentials, simple furnishings, is neat & tidy, has comfy beds, nice master bathroom with tub & shower option AND oh so much character. Given the history in the local area we marveled at what all this home was witness to-if the walls could talk. We enjoyed our evenings up in the cozy top floor watching Netflix. We had a wonderful time dining locally at VAT 60 & Zum Haller (called for reservations) -the owners were warm & welcoming and added to our great experience in Monschau.
We did read about the bottom floor (kitchen) being drafty (and it was) but we came prepared with our slippers and flannel PJs and enjoyed our morning coffee and breakfast in the kitchen whilst listening to the water below. This is a 4 story home with a narrow/winding staircase-wouldn’t be ideal for those with mobility issues or young children, and perhaps anyone over 6’ given the low ceilings especially to the 4th floor.

Guter Ausgangspunkt zum Wandern
Das Haus ist am Rand der Altstadt von Monschau gelegen. Damit hat man nicht allzu viele Touristen vor der Tür und ist trotzdem schnell mittendrinnen. Das Haus bietet ausreichend Platz. Die Betten sind bequem und auch für lange Beine groß genug.
Die Küchenausstattung könnte etwas besser sein. Eine große Pfanne hat gefehlt, ebenso wie ein Korkenzieher. Außerdem funktionierte das Heißwasser in der Küche nicht. Von außen sieht man dem Haus die Jahre an, innen ist es aber gepflegt und sauber. Der Preis erschien uns etwas hoch, ist aber wahrscheinlich für Monschau normal.

Super gut gelegen, waren schnell zu Fuß bei Allen Sehenswürdigkeiten.
Die Wohnung war sehr kalt für Personen die nicht so gut zu Fuß waren, fehlten an den Treppen im Haus Handläufe es war schwer in die oberen Etagen zu kommen.

Uriges Haus mitten in Monschau
Das Haus hat eine perfekte Lage mitten in Monschau! Es ist gemütlich und urig und ausgetattet mit den wichtigsten Dingen, die man benötigt.
Die Treppen sind sehr steil und für kleine Kinder oder ältere Leute vermutlich teilweise gefährlich. Für uns war dies aber gar kein Problem!
