The holiday home is located directly on the German-Belgian border outside the village of Kalterherberg, on the edge of the forest of the "Hohes Venn" nature reserve and close to the Eifel National Park in an absolutely quiet location. The house has a living space of approx. 130 square metres and is suitable for up to 10 people. It has two bathrooms each with shower/WC, four bedrooms with two and three beds, in two bedrooms there are modern satellite TV sets, a baby cot, a living room with satellite TV (107m flat screen) and CD radio, a kitchen with oven, large fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, and dining table for 10 people. In front of the house there is a sunny seating area with garden furniture, and a large fenced garden where your dog can run free. For your own horses, which you are welcome to bring with you, meadows, paddocks or boxes are available on request and for a fee. Free WLAN available. The nearest grocery shop, two bakeries and a butcher's shop are 1 km away in the village of Kalterherberg. All other shops such as Lidl, Edeka, Real, Aldi or drugstore are 10 km away in Imgenbroich. There is also a beautiful hiking trail along the Rur to the historic old town of Monschau, which can be reached after a 1.5-hour walk. If you want to cycle, you can do so on the new Ravellroute, even untrained cyclists can easily cycle to Aachen or Sourbrodt as the route is very flat. In the immediate vicinity, there is the option of riding railbikes on the former Vennbahn railway line. The summer toboggan run in Rohren is approx. 8 km away and the Hellenthal wildlife reserve can be reached in 20 minutes by car.
