Elbershof Monschau

Close to the main town but quiet on a evening

The older windows were difficult to open/ close

Great location, directly in Monschau Access to a sitting area (patio) overlooking the river

Only one window in the room opened; the handles on the rest were broken. It was a hot week, and we wanted to make a draft. Parking paid extra; just include it in the price in the future Apartment without character; photos were promising more soul

Good location , large apartment with all we needed , fridge in hallway offering drinks (honesty policy) very good , short walk to breakfast , I’d describe it as adequate ,

We were in apartment No6 , ground floor , our bathroom window (normal glass) was directly onto the rear patio, with a table & chairs directly next to it , frequented by drinkers & smokers , the blind did not fit correctly and we had to roll a towel into the window , for privacy . I paid €20 euros , for two days parking , which is convenient next to the apartment block , however I ride a very heavy touring motorcycle , the car park is lose stones, which was a nightmare for me , beware also heavily cambered cobbled roads , as a biker , ignore them at your peril

Central location with own parking

The water in the shower and kitchen was impossible to control. Either boiling hot or ice cold, no reaction from the staff and problem not solved during the stay.
