Quiet relaxing break virtually in the centre of Monschau in a beautiful apartment.

The location of the apartment was perfect, stunning views from every window, excellent restaurants virtually on the doorstep, lots of quirky shops to browse away the hours in. The apartment was squeaky clean, the bed was so so comfy and the Wi-Fi superb, there was a lack of socket outlets but that was not a major problem and to be expected in an historic building such as this.

Parking was problematic, the combination of slippery and uneven cobbles on the hill to and from the car park and the steep stairs to the accommodation made it difficult for us of advancing years. The kitchen was not particularly well equipped, if you intended to cook all your meals here you would struggle.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

This apartment is in the middle of Monschau old town, so it’s perfect for restaurants etc. It’s spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and contains everything you need. The owner is very helpful.

Nothing. some reviews complain about the shower and room temperature but these were fine. despite the cold Monschau nights it was never cold in the flat.

Exceptional

Very nice atmosphere. The interior is beautiful, pleasant colour scheme. Quiet place. Very convenient way to get/leave the keys. Great positive experience. Lots of thanks to the owners.

There is no cupboard for clothes. There are only 3 electric prises in the flat. 2 of them are in bad condition. We did not risk to leave our charger unsupervised. But everything else in the flat is new and in perfect condition.

Fine appartment but needs Some work

Central location Just around the corner grom shops and grocery store on the other side of the street. Bedroom nice and big.

The shower head wasnt mounted to the wall so you had to shower holding the showerhead in your hand. The drain of the bathtub couldnt be closed so No bath if you wanted to take one. For a complete kitchen a microwave is essential but was now lacking. Other Than that the facilities were adequate. We recommend that the host makes a pamflet that says where to park your car and what to do and how the boiler works and so on. We were pioneering in an appartement where everything should be taken care of. Tip for future guests would be to notify them of the tourist parking option where you can park your car for only 3€ a day in stead of 7€. Something we found out asking around but would be helpful for tourists visiting Monschau.

Tolles verlängertes Wochenende mitten im Ort

Tolles Appartement in fantastischer Lage, besonders das Rauschen des Laufenbachs direkt am Haus ist sehr schön!

Das Bad passt stilistisch sehr gut zur Wohnung, allerdings wäre uns eine richtige Dusche lieber gewesen.

Erholsam in der idyllischen Altstadt gelegen.

Die Lage ist super. Mitten in der Altstadt.

Es könnten wie schon beschrieben ein, zwei Töpfe mehr sein. Aber wir sind im Urlaub und nicht zu Hause. Das hat aber insgesamt keinen Einfluss auf diesen.
