Loved the White House

My first interaction after booking the room was talking to Patricia, she was so helpful with giving us information. We had not eaten all day and had about an hour drive to Kenmare, we wanted to get there before dark. Patricia gave us perfect direction and ensured us that we could walk in to town for a bite to eat. The house was easy to find and plenty of parking. Breakfast was abundant with lots of options.

We really enjoyed our stay at the White House. There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like. Short walk to town or to the local golf course where you can walk down to the walk down to the water front.

Wonderful

Location was perfect for us to drive through the beautiful mountains,lakes and sea,also Kenmare town,bars easy walking. Would definitely go again.Patricia very welcoming host and knowledgeable of the area as she grew up there. Breakfasts were perfect for the start of the day. Room very comfortable.Thank you

The loveliest place to stay

Wonderful stay in a beautiful , sparkling clean and fresh room . Our host Patricia was amazing , nothing was too much trouble and she was so friendly and kind to all the guests .

Brilliant holiday. Absolutely loved it.

Lovely accommodation, very clean and the host Patricia couldn’t have been more helpful. So friendly and easy to get along with. The breakfasts were brilliant, every taste catered for. The location was spot on. Only 10 minute walk into Kenmare town which is absolutely charming. Plenty of great places to eat and drink, all with excellent service and quality. Will definitely be going back and will be recommending The White House to all my family and friends.

Really enjoyable stay.

Immaculately clean bedroom and house. Our hostess, Patricia, could not have been more hospitable or welcoming - she is exceptional and clearly enjoys her work. The house is lovely and very comfortable but a 20-25 minute walk to Kenmare centre, however it is a pleasant walk.

Couple touring Ireland by road.

The warm reception and hospitality from Patricia the owner. We arrived a little before check in time on a wet day and she welcomed us in. The property is spotless, bed comfortable and great breakfast. The property is a bit of a walk to the beautiful historic town. Golf course in walking distance. Parking on site.

The perfect place to stay in Kenmare while on the spectacular Ring of Kerry tour

Patricia is a wonderful hostess very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a great rainfall shower. We enjoyed a full Irish breakfast and French press coffee. I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning.

Home from Home with totally charming Host

There was huge choice for breakfast, all freshly cooked. The White House is situated on a lovely road, wooded and lined by gorgeous gardens. It is a pleasure to walk there although it is a good 10 minutes walk from Kenmare

Perfect location to do the ring of Kerry, the place itself is neat and tidy, clean and very comfortable. The bedroom came with extra pillows which we really liked, as well as hangers in the wardrobe and ample space for our stuff. We were in a room with an ensuite bathroom and all was simply perfect. The hostess was extremely kind and very flexible and when we asked if we could arrive later because our friends flight got delayed, she kindly instructed us how to check in later. There is an ample list of dishes that she prepares including pancakes and all the food was delicious!

Patricia did her very best to accommodate us and make us feel welcome and comfortable. She made a special breakfast for my wife because she was having a digestive issue on our trip. She gave us lots of good suggestions about what was interesting in the area. We feel very lucky to have found her, she is upbeat, friendly, lively and hard-working. If we ever come back, we'll stay here.

Could not be better! There just isn't anything we didn't like. Patricia even let us hang our laundry on her line and folded them when it look like rain!

The White House B&B is located in Kenmare, a little lovely spot where you will probably pass when visiting the West: Ring of Kerry, Beara Peninsula etc. So you don't want to miss this B&B, located a few steps out of the town center, with a lovely garden and hill view from your room window. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable, parking just in front of the house and breakfast was abundant and tasty. But let's come to the very heart of The White House B&B - If you love the good old Irish value of hospitality, you will want to stay here with Patricia at least one night. She does the things the old way, meeting you on the front door and offering a cup of tea and biscuits, having some lovely chat and actually taking good care of you. She is the perfect host! I've been travelling through Ireland a few times, but the more time goes by, the more this kind of B&Bs and care are disappearing, which is really a loss, because good hospitality is value, tradition and a meeting point for people, countries, experience.

Very comfortable and relaxing stay, would recommend staying at The White House when visiting Kenmare

Excellent place to stay when visiting the Ring of Kerry. Host Patricia made our stay most welcoming and comfortable. Her personal attention us during our stay and over breakfast was very much appreciated. The property has a very homely and relaxing feel about it. Location is on a quiet road but close to the town centre. On site parking was a bonus for us, as we had travelled by car.

Gorgeous and comfortable!

Absolutely everything! Trish was so welcoming! The room was sparkling clean, so comfortable, beautifully decorated and just a short walk into town. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful! Pancakes were stellar! Best shower in Ireland! I took all of Trish’s recommendations and they were all fabulous. I’d love to stay again the next time I have the pleasure of being in Kenmare.
