Centre of town
Filthy..smell hits you the minute you go in front door.
Noisy gym to rear of building starts heavy bass music at 6.30am and vibrates through walls

The location was perfect to just walk around the quaint little town and see the sights. Close to the Tork waterfall for a short drive.
Breakfast that was included was excellent and the music at night was awesome.
I don't think that I disliked anthing.

the break fast was on a very restricted Menu, the location was nice but very noisy in the evening's the windows should be changed so less noise can be heard from outside, and also it's not a good idea that besides your head when on bed you hear the toilet flush etc.
and the place needs a refurbishment i have spent three nights with loud noises coming from below till midnight or 1.00 am. the place looks like you are in the 60 but the price are of 2025.

The rooms were clean. The location was great.
A very noisy spot with very thin walls. The breakfast was disappointing. The beds and bedding were pretty uncomfortable. Overpriced for what it is.

Great location in the centre of town
Breakfast was not very good; maybe because we were on the 9:30 slot, felt like the food had been cooked at 8:00 & all we got was overcooked leftovers. No choice offered on white/brown bread & Kinsale eggs & salmon was not very nice

Staff was very nice and helpful. Location is right where the action is.
Good food
It’s a pub and had live music. It was noisy in the rooms above until quite late.
Great for some not so much for others.
Street noise.

Too pretty for words, the accommodation is in the hub of Kenmare and perfect for a short stay.
No access to a fridge, and they were unable to help store some of our perishable food from travelling.

This property is absolutely stunning in every way, from the authentic surroundings to the warm, attentive staff who make you feel truly at home. The food is a feast for the senses, beautifully presented and every bite tastes incredible.
There’s not much you could dislike about this guest house.

The room was cozy and comfortable. Patrick was very obliging and made us feel very welcome. We arrived a little earlier than check in time & Patrick made sure we had a room ASAP. All of the staff were amazing.
The breakfast was delicious.

Very central location. Good value for money. Nice breakfast.
Music was extremely loud from downstairs bar area. But it finished at around 11.30pm. Did not eat our evening meal there as there was no roast of the day and no menus available. You had to scan a code on your phone to see menu. We like to browse a menu.

Vivid and cosy Street environment. Good choice in prepared breakfast. Good breakfast. Live Music in the Street. Helpful and friendly personel. Good bed. Easy parking on the Street. Central location for ring of Kerry and killarney national park. Many pubs in the neighbourhood.

Was wonderful being right on the main street of Kenmare. Great food at the pub attached to the property and good choices in the area around.
You are in the central main street of Kenmare. I happened to be there during a particularly warm spell and had to have my window open for air but it was a little loud on the main street. I both enjoyed the central nature of the location and also wish it had been a little quieter. There really isn't anything the property did wrong, but guests should be aware it can be a little loud a little later than you may want especially if you have a room with windows facing the street.

We were not able to take advantage of the breakfast, but dinner was great.
I was expecting the room decor to be more traditional, as shown in the photos, so I was initially disappointed. It took a bit to accept the contemporary decor, but it really was just fine.

Everything was perfect for us

We enjoyed staying here - it was great for what we needed, attending a wedding at a nearby venue.
The staff go above and beyond. They were super friendly and arranged an ironing board and iron to be sent to our room when requested for our wedding attire.
The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfy.
We had lunch here when we arrived which was delicious.
We expected it to be loud as staying in the town centre, so we kept the windows closed to avoid disruption. However, our trip was blessed with gorgeous weather, which meant the rooms were incredibly hot. We opened the windows in the middle of the night for some relief but then were met by lots of shouting outside. If a small fan was provided in the room that would have made a HUGE difference.
The pillows were god awful. Again really simple change that would make a big difference.
Also a minor annoyance - no shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom. At this price point, I did expect that and didn't pack any for our trip, so slightly annoying having to go back out and spend 10 euros on products. All these things are simple fixes though.

Very clean and comfortable bed.
At 1am in the morning they started rattling piles of bottles around at the back of the premises which was extremely loud and at 6.30am they then started moving beer kegs around which again was very noisy and went on for a while.

Great location in the heart of picturesque Kenmare. Lots of options for sightseeing and for eating out whether you're looking for fine dinning or just want something from the chippy.
My little one found it a bit hard to sleep with the live music from the pub so earplugs might be a good idea if you're a light sleeper who wants to knock off early.

The staff member who I contacted to let her know that my flight was late was very helpful and was there to give me access even though I arrived very late which was much appreciated.

The bed was comfy, the staff were great and the breakfasts very good, with a huge choice.
- the bathroom was tiny. Neither myself or my husband are large people and found the bathroom inadequate. The sink was so small that you couldn't get your head close enough to spit in it, or splash water on your face. You couldn't put you elbow out while brushing your teeth (assuming you are right handed), the shower was small so you were not able to step away from the stream of water (that was variable temperature and pressure).
- the room was not vacuumed at all during our 5 night stay
- one night we decided to eat there. There was live music (not irish just a guy and a guitar playing 'american pie' type songs). It was so loud that it was painful. Asked staff if he could turn it down but apparantly not allowed. He literally cleared the room in 15 minutes! The music wasn't bad, but the sheer volume made it uncomfortable, and we were unable to talk to the person beside us, let alone the waitress or the person on the other side of the table! We would have left sooner, but they had messed up our food order (ie forgotten to make it!)

hands down the staff was the most wonderful so far on our trip! Room was beautiful and best sleep we've had so far. Food in the restaurant was wonderful, had a great time singing after dinner and breakfast was made to order! LOVE this spot and will be back next year!
There was not a thing we didn't love about this spot!
