Lovely, like staying at Grandma’s home

The host was wonderful! On our first day we left early to start a drive around the Ring of Kerry and when we told her we would miss the usual breakfast time she said she would make sure the continental food was set up so we could still eat.

Great stay in Kenmare!

Overall excellent stay with friendly and accommodating host family. Comfy beds and wonderful, cooked-to-order breakfast each morning with care for dietary restrictions, and the willingness to add more or less of the foods based on each person's preferences. Very close to town and a wonderful spot for a hub and spoke type of stay for the beautiful surrounding areas. Highly recommended!

If I had one small complaint it would be that the wi-fi could be a bit stronger to the rooms far from the common areas. We had good signal in the family room areas, but struggled to consistently connect from our guest room. But again, highly recommended stay and I could take my computer to the couches or tables when I really needed a stronger connection.

Stay here of you are going to Kenmare!

Our stay was great we had the back guest house with the washer and dryer which was appreciated. The breakfast which was the full Irish breakfast but with other choices as well was delicious the scones were so good! I would not hesitate to recommend this B & B.

We had some trouble with the lock but the host was there in a heartbeat to help us out.

Excellent accommodation. Really clean and comfortable. Therese was a wonderful hostess. Breakfast was very good, especially Therese's home made soda bread and scones. Lovely homely atmosphere.

Breakfast was fantastic! Therese was a lovely host and cooked to order as per individual preferences. She also provided delicious freshly baked scones. Room is a classic old fashioned b&b and was a peaceful place to rest our heads

The lady who owns the B&B made us feel right at home. The area is very quiet, 2 km from the center of a lively town and a few km from the Ring of Kerry and the Lakes. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast, prepared by the lady, was good and plentiful. Very satisfied.

Comfortable room and great breakfast.

Very comfortable room, great breakfast including fresh home made scones and Irish soda bread, plus everything else you’d expect from a cooked breakfast. Therese was very friendly and helpful, including suggestions for our route and things to see. Rooms at the front have a good view over lovely front garden to the hills beyond, and it’s well set back from the road so theres little traffic noise. Good bar meals at PF McCarthy in Kenmare, huge portions and tasty.

Cozy, perfect, would definitely recommend.

When you think of an Irish B&B, this place might come to mind. Beautiful and cozy cottage/house with the nicest proprietor. We were waiting for the perfect scones for breakfast, and this place was the first to provide them. Thank you. Our family was also engrossed in a "card game tournament" and the house had a sitting room that proved perfect for our needs. It was a little out of town, and that was just fine. We loved the beautiful window boxes full of colorful flowers.

Everything! Best we stayed in and possibly one of the best in Ireland. Excellent location. Kenmare is the place to start the Ring of Kerry. Terese was most helpful in determining the best experience. Great Irish breakfast and other choices. Comfortable room.

The best and would love to come again.

We stayed in the separated little "cottage". The family was amazing and very accommodating. There is a full kitchen with supplies, so wish we could have stayed longer.

When we booked there wasn't room for our cousin so he stayed in town, but not far. When we arrived the sign did say vacancy, but i realize things change and he was already booked elsewhere.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming, clean and comfortable B&B. Our host went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was amazing. Therese makes the best scones I have had anywhere.
