Beautiful house in a beautiful setting, minutes walk from the village. Comfortable bed and very quiet, which meant I had a good night's sleep. The host was lovely. Unobtrusive and experienced. Offered some great tips. Nice breakfast. Loved it. Highly recommend.

Very quiet location. I enjoyed sitting in the sun on the patio when we arrived. There was a snug to watch tv and a breakfast room on the main floor. Stairs were narrow but not steep. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a nice change from full Irish, with breads, cereal, fruit and yogurt. Coffee was very good.
There was a dog outside who howled from the time we arrived and I finally messaged the owner at 9 p.m. It was very quiet after that.

Close to town. Beautiful location, farm with great old house! Margaret was a great host giving us info on the town and the Ring of Kerry! And the homemade brown and banana bread were killer!!

Well situated just on the edge of town just a few minutes walk away. Margaret was welcoming and explained everything well breakfast was more than adequate with delicious homemade bread and fruit salad

A wonderful Irish welcome. This very traditional property had a really remote feel, yet it was only a 10 minute walk into Kenmare and it's wide selection of restaurants and bars. Breakfast was a treat - continental with breads and cakes all homemade (just ask for the recipe but don't expect precise measures and method!). A truely authentic Irish experience.

Place is on a working farm, farmer allowed us to park our motorcycles in the barn (it was raining), so excellent security. We struggled to get a taxi into town so the farmer drove us in; him and his wife were really helpful and friendly. Everything inside is basic, but clean and homely. Its about 10mins walk into town, via some shortcuts.
We had a basic, cold breakfast; as it is out of town, it would be great if they offered a cooked breakfast,

Margaret is such a wonderful person.
Location is fantastic.
Fabulous breakfast.
Please mind the steps between rooms as my partner really hurt her leg bad on a small step.

Charming B&B surrounded by fields and similar properties and only a 10minute walk into centre of Kenmare along a shady lane. Delicious home made continental breakfast provided by just, along with advice for local attractions and sights.

Very friendly reception and tasty continental breakfast with wonderful fresh house made bread and fresh fruits, good coffee. First impression of room in the old house was misleading: Bed and shower were very good, and absolutetly no noise from outside. Thanks Margareth for the nice stay.
Room quite small, but 1st) we knew that before and 2nd) the more important things as bathroom infrastructure and mattress were very good.

The owners went out of there way to assist us, by dropping us off in the town and picking us up later on in the evening

Lovely Margaret, she is so helpful and kind. Breakfast is delicious, special banana bread. The room is very clean. Perfect localization, quiet place but near to pubs and restaurants.

If you like bread, this is the place to stay. They should change the name to Bed & Bread, as that is pretty much all we were offered for breakfast (3 different kinds), and some yogurt. I booked late for this trip, so this place was one of the few places left and now I know why. Overpriced for what it was. On a farm, so farm smells. Older farmhouse without many updates. Tricky road to get to the farmhouse, but not far from the town.

The property is just a few minutes walk from the centre of town but feels like you’re deep in the country when you’re there which is amazing.
Nothing about the property but the road to get there is definitely a narrow country road so if you’re not used to driving in those you might be a bit uncomfortable.

Margaret was an exceptional host, helpful with sightseeing ideas and gave us a great breakfast, especially the banana bread. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms were modern.
It would have been nice to have a mirror you could sit in front of to do makeup and hair drying but that is a minor thing.

The property is so well kept and in a beautiful location. It’s less than 10 minutes walk from all of the pubs, restaurants and shops which is awesome and our host was super! She really went above and beyond to think about every little detail to make the stay exceptional! She also spent time with us helping us plan our next few days of activities which was super! Plus the breakfast was fabulous, homemade soda and banana bread was a stand out too! Would absolutely recommend it to anyone and will definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay here while walking the Kerry Way. Breakfast says Continental, which doesn’t sound like much, but it was a really great breakfast with homemade bread, fresh fruit and yogurt - exceeded our expectations.

The house is a few minutes walk from the centre of Kenmare with it's restaurants and nightlife. Margaret made us feel very welcome and was keen to point out the quickest way to walk into town. We weren't sure if a continental breakfast would leave us looking for a second breakfast by mid morning but the cereals, fruit and yoghurt and Margaret's home made breads were absolutely delicious and were plenty to keep us going til lunchtime.
Not so much something we didn't like but worth noting...............The drive has sensor lights for night time but the last few hundred yards on the public road to the drive is unlit so our phone torch came in handy.

The location was very close to town for restaurants etc but far enough away to not hear anything. The breakfast choice catered for everyone. We particularly liked the home baking and we were recommended places of interest for our journey ahead.
