The property is idyllic, located 7 minutes from the town center by foot. The property is an operating farm and provides all the charm you’d expect. I liked hearing the cows. Margaret is a wonderful and friendly host.
Some people have complained about things I’d like to speak to. Margaret is very clear in setting expectations prior to arrival and at booking - even when going through Booking.com. She provides specific driving directions. Apple Maps worked for us, but she gives specific details. She also makes it clear breakfast is continental and cold. So don’t complain about not having a hot breakfast when she told you in advance there wouldn’t be one. She served homemade breads, beautiful fruits, yogurt and French press coffee. More food than I could eat. To the complainers - that’s on you, not the property. It was lovely.
The pillows could use an upgrade.

Traditional property with lots of character. The room was tastefully furnished and was spotlessly clean.
The continental breakfast was so fresh with home made bread and cake we were encouraged to take away with us. The owner was so friendly and gave lots of useful tips for our onwards journey. The location of this property was only a 7 mins walk using a pathway to Kenmare which is a jewel of a small town.

Wonderful welcome from the owner who was an absolute joy. Friendly, helpful and a top notch host.
Generous and tasty breakfast included.
Closer to town than it appears because there is a footpath which is much shorter than the road route.
Quiet location with easy parking.
Not a huge amount of space in the room and bathroom but it did the job.

Very quiet location. I enjoyed sitting in the sun on the patio when we arrived. There was a snug to watch tv and a breakfast room on the main floor. Stairs were narrow but not steep. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a nice change from full Irish, with breads, cereal, fruit and yogurt. Coffee was very good.
There was a dog outside who howled from the time we arrived and I finally messaged the owner at 9 p.m. It was very quiet after that.
