A great location to base your trip to the Beara Peninsula

This is a first-rate B&B conveniently located walking distance from Kenmare city center. We spent 2 nights here with hosts Danielle and Raymond who do a superb job running the B&B. The room was very comfortable, quiet and clean and appeared to be recently renovated with very modern fixtures and lighting. The breakfasts offered a wide range of choices, and they were very delicious. This was a great location for us to visit Kenmare and to venture out for a day exploring the Beara Peninsula. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who appreciates a good B&B with personable hosts.

Beautiful accommodation. Look no further 🥰

We loved our stay at Laburnum House. We had a twin room with a small ensuite. The beds were really comfortable & we both had great nights sleep. Raymond & Daniella were both extremely friendly & made us feel very much at home. The breakfasts were so filling & delicious that we didn’t need lunch 😋 The dining room was lovely with a beautiful view over the countryside. We would highly recommend this accommodation & hope to see Raymond & Daniella in Western Australia one day.

Irish Paradise

The accommodations were so much nicer than we had expected from the pictures. The bedroom and bath were huge, with tons of closet and cabinet space, sparkling clean, and tastefully decorated. Breakfasts were splendid. The location is outside Kenmare's main streets so you avoid the hustle and bustle but close enough to easily stroll to the town center and all the amenities. Amazingly, the house sits beside and across gorgeous green fields where sheep and cows occasionally graze. Icing on the cake was the gracious hospitality shown by warm and friendly hosts Daniella and Raymond. We could not have been happier with our stay at Laburnum House and hope we can return some day.

Wonderful couple hosting us for a great breakfast and lots of good recommendations. Room very comfortable but next time I would request a room not on the front side of the house as the road is busy-ish.

Lovey B&B with parking

Our large room with equally large bathroom was very comfortable, plenty of space to relax, a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Our hosts were friendly and helpful with suggestions of how to tackle our exploration. Our room included a generous breakfast. Off street parking and an easy 1 km walk into town, highly recommended.

Beautiful, welcoming and hospitable

The hosts are very welcoming and friendly! The bathroom was huge, the bed was comfortable and the room was very comfortable! The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the hosts soooo hospitable! The location is very good and highly recommend staying here!! Will definitely be returning here when I come back to Kenmare!!

Exceeded our expectations. Very quiet - ideal for couples.

Wonderful breakfast - continental - cereals + yoghurt + fresh fruit salad + bread/toast and jams + menu for cooked breakfast including full Irish breakfast + fresh tea/coffee. All served in lovely breakfast room. Our bedroom (not sure about others) had a massive ensuite with full bath and shower. It was larger than some entire rooms we have stayed in. Hosts could not do enough for us. Loved our stay and happy to recommend them to others.

Perfect in every way!

Our room was perfect! Very spacious bedroom and huge bathroom. We had a built in wardrobe in our room so loads of space for hanging clothes etc. The shower was the best!! Our hosts were lovey, welcoming and friendly. We would highly recommend Laburnum B&B.

Laburnum was perfectly located for our trip as it is just a few minutes from Dromquina Manor where we attended wedding and we were able to walk in to the town the next day to stroll around the lovely shops and cafes The breakfast was really tasty and fresh served by the very friendly hosts

Lovely B&B, true to form, with a delicious breakfast and friendly hosts.

The location is very convenient, with a short 15 minute idyllic walk into town. The room was quite cozy and the bathroom was newly remodeled with a rain style shower. The breakfast was also AMAZING! The french toast is a must try!

It was just perfect! And very nicely located to do the Ring of Kerry, Healer’s pass, nice and close to Dingle peninsula as well. Also walking distance to the main part of town, which was perfect.
