Ashfield B&B was very nice place to stay while in Kenmare, easy to find, lovely spacious room, delicious breakfast, nice choice of food for breakfast. the host Mary was very welcoming & very helpful. I would recommend this b&b to friends & family.

Love our stay

Beautiful house with plenty of parking spaces and not so far from the town. Spacious room with garden views. Good selections of hot breakfast to choose from. Mary is one of the best hosts we had in the trip. Kenmare is a very good center for our Ring of Kerry trip.

It was very convenient to the downtown area, you could easily walk vs drive & park. The room was very nice, the breakfast was excellent, we enjoyed this B&B, it was the favorite from our trip. And Mary was really sweet!

It’s the perfect place in Kenmare to rest — quiet, cute, welcoming, warm. Mary is such a sweetheart and i looked forward to getting sound sleep at Ashfield and waking up to a delicious breakfast to start the day!

Location perfectly situated at the entrance of the city of Kenmare! Excellent accomodation! Mary gave us good ideas of interesting visits in the area. Warm welcome , very large bedroom en suite. Everything was perfect!

Mary is friendly and gracious, and she gave great advice about how to spend our time there. Delicious breakfast, cooked to order, and beautifully presented. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a view of the water. It was the favorite stay of our trip!

Great hostess, breakfast and location!

Wonderful hostess!! Great breakfast. Loved the location (quiet) but still close to town. Kenmare is a great small town with enough eateries to satisfy us for 4 nights. Room had a desk plus 2 easy chairs with a small round table between them. Nice views from windows.

Great hosts, location and service on Ring of Kerry.

Greeted warmly. There was local football match on the road leading to Ashfield and someone was there to direct us through. Close to center of Kenmare. Helped with luggage. Room was expansive with view of river and playing field. You had several choices for breakfast and make choices the night before. Mary was sweet and attentive in mornings. We had a great chat about her upcoming trip to American Midwest.

Only that we could only stay two nights.

Excellent stay, warm inviting welcome from Mary and Paul, excellent value for money.

Location excellent 15min from town centre, very quiet and very well positioned in a small cul-de-sac. Breakfasts were superb with plenty of choice, freshly cooked with home made Irish bread ! Rooms were of a 'good' 4 star hotel standard. Clearly Mary and Paul have experienced B&B's as well as Hotels and have taken all the good ideas found when staying away.

Sorry we cannot think that there was anything we did not like !!!!!

Mary is very reliable and friendly host a lovely lady and great at recommended places to visit. Kenmare town it's a small and cozy to visit .Davitts bar had the best fish and chips.

A bit far from Killarney but this is nothing to do with our lovely BB in Kenmare, it was our choice to travel.

This is a great place to stay, near town, good facilities, good coffee and a delicious home cooked breakfast. Also some unexpected extras like homemade jam and soda bread and the presence of the owners sisters 2 donkeys in the field across the way, really added to the experience!

We had a lovely break in Kenmare, contributed to in no small way by this great accommodation.

The location was perfect, within walking distance of the town, very quiet at night. We had a star filled sky to wonder at on our return each evening. The host was very friendly and helpful, providing us with directions to great restaurants and must see place to visit in the surrounding area. The breakfast was delicious, with a very good selection to choose from and the breakfast area was very bright and airy, overlooking the lovely garden.

Very comfortable stay at a peaceful location, but close enough to town for meals etc.

We enjoyed our stay at Ashfield. Very easy to find, well signposted from the main road and a clear message from Mary made it so simple. Good location with about 8 min walk into Kenmare town. Our room was very clean and comfortable, with great views. Good breakfast, lovely fruit, cereal and juices too. Very friendly and helpful host.

Excellent place to stay in Kenmare, nice and secluded.

The location was just outside of the the main strip of Kenmare so it was nice and quiet and just a 10 minute walk to town. The host is excellent she was so warm and inviting and she gave me excellent suggestions especially when my travel plans changed because of weather. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options to choose from.
