Comfortable stay at a beautiful property with lots of services, with a very scenic waterfall and close to the village of

Services including massages, spa and indoor pool Bar overlooking the falls is very comfortable, with excellent food and drinks. Stables restaurant was good Late check out enabled us to maximise our use of the facilities and enjoy the property.

Service was a bit slow in the bar. I will have to come back for a longer stay and a game of golf.

The location was stunning.

The service from the staff was not 5 star at check in or during my stay, having to ask for service and when looking for room service not answering phone at reception. I visited with my family for a special occasion didn’t make any effort and when I requested some products for my baby they didn’t have any unlike other 5 star hotel I’ve stayed in. Duty Manager was not very nice when I asked for this.

Room was superb - size and comfort. Bathroom ditto Breakfast was fine but not memorable Dinner was very pleasant

I am interested to see how management will view this observation. What is management policy on noisy children at breakfast? At breakfast there were a couple of mothers sharing a large table with very young children that more or less continually cried or were not controlled to keep quiet. These mothers did not seem at all concerned that their children's noisy behaviour might upset other patrons. The staff did not intervene. I paid over e600 for a short stay and the only good aspect of this episode was that we were seated at the other end of the room. It's not good enough for this to happen at an establishment of this reputation. We expected peace and quiet plus the usual general respect all round. These families seem to treat this public space as their own home. This issue upset us. What is the manager's view?

Highly recommend this property

The grounds were absolutely gorgeous. My only regret was that we didn’t walk around more. There were several trails on the property that you could choose from, but we were too busy taking in other tourist attractions to enjoy them. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The room was very comfortable and clean. The two bars that we went to had very good craft cocktails, different from any I have seen. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I would stay there again.

The hotel was beautiful had a feeling of calmness and serenity. The room was fabulous with stunning views overlooking the water. Breakfast was lovely. Everything was just perfect.

Absolutely Exceptional

I knew when I booked Sheen Falls that it was going to be a wonderful trip, but this resort exceeded any expectations I had. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so kind and approachable. The food was extraordinary, the views and location were incredible, the room and facilties were absolutely amazing. The room was one of the highlights for me. We felt so taken care of the whole time and we were absolutely gutted to leave. We have decided to make this resort our go to place at least 3 times a year from now on, as we were just blown away. Stunning place, highly recommend it, and have told family and friends to stay here and experience how wondeful it was! We would LOVE to get married here in the future as I couldn't pick a better spot for it. Extremely happy with it overall. Thank you so much to all the staff during the stay - they made it even better for us.

Pleasant, relaxing stay. Perfect location

The location is stunning. The art around the whole hotel is amazingly beautiful, the mural at the main reception made us smile upon arrival. The staff are very accommodating and nice. The spa was also the nicest we have seen in Ireland so far, we had deep tissue massage there and really enjoyed sauna afterwards.

The breakfast could be improved. We ordered Avocado sourdough toast from the cooked section and didn’t eat much of it, avocado was like a purée on a regular toast. This was the least impressive avocado toast we’ve tried. My friend didn’t like her Irish breakfast much either.

Tranquil, Lovely staff, elegant decor, great art, beautiful grounds (very scenic), the food was fantastic, spacious rooms, great breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea. The spa was wonderful - best massage ever! Great jacuzzi and pool - very quiet.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and professional.

While we loved our room and a view of the waterfall, the brightness of the lights lighting up the waterfall at night made it a little difficult to fall asleep. Maybe lessen the number of lights? We would also suggest having some kind of "nightlight" in the bathrooms.
