Warm and cosy

The room was small but perfect in every way. The beds were super comfortable and a great night sleep was had .

I didn’t have breakfast but my husband did . He said the full Irish breakfast was delicious, good quality ingredients but he found sitting with 2 strangers a bit uncomfortable and sharing certain foods ( toast, coffee) a bit off putting as no one knew if they were individual portions or shared portions. Otherwise he said one of the best breakfast.

The house is very clean and has a cozy atmosphere. There is a nice path which leads back to the town of Kenmare in less that ten minutes.

Very good option for a stay in Kenmare.

Very nice hosts, good breakfast. Phillip provided us with many suggestions. A decent location- just a short walk into town. Like all the bathrooms we’ve encountered in Ireland, the shower was lovely.

The rooms were a little cramped. But that is what happens when you convert an older house into a modern B&B.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful, historic Cottage!

Phillip was a wonderful host and we had a great stay at the Cottage! It's centrally located just outside of the most crowded parts of Kenmare in a beautiful, historic home. Our room was extremely clean and quite spacious. The shower was hot and had good water pressure. The breakfast was excellent! Phillip gave us wonderful recommendations that made our vacation even better. We could not be more grateful!

Charming B&B walking distance to town

Charming B&B with a comfy room. Very kind and welcoming hosts. Delicious breakfast included in the price. Perfect location for a tour of the Ring of Kerry!

The bed was two twins pushed together which was not ideal for a couple but we managed for one night.

Druid cottage is a very cute place well situated with the owner : Philip Boldrick interesting, attentive to the guests. The room (Sneem) is comfortable, quiet, and the breakfast si complete and very good

The bed and breakfast was adorable and close to the town center and the owner / host, Philip was lovely. He was full of advice on what to do and see and very friendly. Breakfast was great too!

The location was a walkable distance from the city centre with lots of convenient parking on the property. Our host had a lot of helpful maps and recommendations, and knew a lot about Kenmare and surrounding areas of Ireland. Our room with a private bathroom was perfect and clean.

Charming B&B on outskirts of Kenmare

We had a lovely overnight stay in the druids cottage. Our room was very clean and comfortable room and we were warmly welcomed by Phillip who gave us some excellent dining recommendations in the local village. The BnB is perfect for an overnight stay within walking distance to kenmare village, and driving distance to Killarney and west cork area.

Definitely Bookmarking Druid Cottage. A Perfect Respite

I loved the home. I loved my fellow guests. I loved the comfort, cleanliness, and conveniences of the accomodations, the black pudding, orange juice and strong French press coffee for breakfast, but what I loved most were my hosts. Phillip and his wife took amazing care of me over my 4 night stay. I'd had a fun night my first day in town and spent the whole next day recovering. They were very kind to me and we spent the remainder of my time joking about my shenanigans. I really appreciated their sense of humor and tolerance of a silly solo traveler.

Everything was amazing. The only complaint I can come up with is the tight fit of the large key tag when locking/unlocking the room door. Twas a bit awkward. I did read from other reviews prior to my stay that the walk into town was a bit far, but that suited me well. As a solo woman the 15 minute walk was pleasant and safe, even late at night. I prefer a bit of a slower pace from being out of the main hub, but if you're wanting to be in the thick of it, consider the walk is about 10/15 minutes.

Was told breakfast was from 9:15-11:15 went down at 10 am for my breakfast to be very abruptly told the cook was gone home, so was left with no breakfast and full cost had to be paid, staff were rude and was practically hunted out after being told there was no breakfast. Will not be returning nor will any biker in Munster.
