O'Donnabhains Kenmare Townhouse

Our 7 night experience here was exceptional. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, we had a great shower and peace and quiet. The pub is an absolute delight with an awesome breakfast featuring great coffee, fresh fruit and cereals and Full Irish Breakfasts or variations on the theme. The pub menu offers excellent traditional dishes, a cozy snug by the fireplace and a proper vibe with outstanding service that makes you feel at home. Perfectly located downtown and within walking distance of everything you want to experience, O’Donnabhains is an excellent choice in the beautiful and charming village of Kenmare. Highly recommended.

Convenient

A centrally located B&B/inn in Kenmare with large, clean rooms, a comfy bed, and a large bath. The included breakfast is good as well. However there were two knocks for me. One, the shower was warm but not hot. And two, and this is my fault, these are rooms above a pub, and on a Saturday night in prime tourist season with live music playing till near midnight, and street noise as well, I did not get a good night’s sleep. I knew that was a risk but there were few options in town booking last minute as I did. If you want a quiet stay, then this may not be the place for you even though the rooms themselves are great. But if you are going to be in the pub yourself listening to that live music til midnight then this is great, you just to make it back upstairs afterwards.

Excellent clean room, helpful staff and great breakfast. Had an evening meal as well which was one of the best we have had on our trip. Hotel in centre of the town which was great. Would highly recommend.
