Very nice and friendly owners; the hotel is reasonably priced and located within a walking or short driving distance from the ski lifts (depending on whether you're skiing in Alt St. Johan or Wildhaus). There's no breakfast option in this hotel, but there's a supermarket close by and a little kitchen where you can make coffee/tea and eat your own breakfast. The beds are comfortable and rooms spacious (our double room was at least).

I like the overall property. But there is always a but

The landlord said I took away the towels, which were not even provided in the house. For this reason, the landlord charged me 25 CHF.

The town itself has not so much to do in the summer if you do not come for walking in the mountains, but as a stopover it is nice to see something from the Swiss countryside

Great stay in the summer (with children)

- Good location: - Very nice childrens' playground 50m away - A Spar store directly across the street - Nice coffee/cocoa machine - Very clean

Nothing that bothered us. Some things to be aware of though: - it's a multi-story building (3 floors in total I think), so there are stairs (in case you're mobility restricted) - the beds are a bit on the harder side (which we like, but might be an issue for some)

Friendly, welcoming hosts/owners. No breakfast served, but guests can use a small breakfastroom w/ coffeemachine, dishes, cutlery as well as a fridge for storing your own things. The free "Gästekarte" allows for a substantial discount on tickets for some of the nearby cablecars and ski-lifts. Several shops, restaurants and cafés close by.

Die Lage im Dorf war sehr praktisch und schön zugleich. Das Haus direkt am Fluss war ruhig und trotzdem war der Fluss zu hören. Die Übernahme war unkompliziert. Sehr angenehme Begegnungen und Aufenthalt.

Alles top, es gab ein kleines Zimmer, wo man essen durfte und seine Sachen im Kühlschrank versorgen konnte. Kaffeemaschine durfte man kostenlos benutzen, danke sehr grosszügig. Wir haben ganz kurzfristig gebucht, sofort Antwort erhalten und der Schlüssel war vor Ort. Unkompliziert, wir kommen wieder, wenn wir wieder mal in der Gegend sind.

Stilvolles und sauberes Zimmer direkt an der Thur

Die Lage direkt am Bach fand ich super. Die Thur hat mich in den Schlaf gewogen. Das Zimmer ist stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Der Schlüssel lag bereit und mit einer kurzen Info wusste ich wo ich das Zimmer finden werde. Es hat mir sehr gut gefallen und wenn ich die Churfirsten Kaiserroute nochmals mache, werde ich diese Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Endroit idéal au départ de belles randonnées.

Accueil et gentillesse d'Anna et de son mari. Chambre propre et spacieuse avec un grand balcon pour prendre le PD puis le dîner, tranquillement après de belles randonnées en journée. Mise à disposition d'un frigo, d'une bouilloire ainsi que d'une cafetière dans une pièce commune. Parking gratuit. Je recommande sans hésiter cet endroit.
