Wonderful location, spacious apartment, excellent staff.

The spacious nature of the apartment, we did not realise it was on two floors.

Silverfish. Albeit only a few, they were on my towel and on my clothes when left in the apartment.

The best accommodation we have had in the alps

Very nice, spacious, modern apartment in an apartment hotel, with a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. One with bath & shower, the other with shower. Spacious terrace with a sliding door, tables, and chairs so you can enjoy the mountain air and views of the slopes. You can see our terrace on the only picture I took of the appartment. The terrace continues on the other side. Our room was on the second floor with views of the slopes over the building. Both rooms have king-size beds + sofa bed on the living room. The location is as perfect as it can be, in the middle of everything. The main ski lift, Maiskogelbahn, is within a short walking distance. Restaurants and shops are also next to the hotel. The main grocery store is also almost across the street. And even though it is an apartment, it has hotel-like amenities, such as reception, a restaurant (breakfast included, dinner available, not included), and a sauna (free; just book at reception)... Late arrival is possible. They have a key box. We arrived at 4 am. Reception is open from 8-20, and by phone or call button around the clock (even 4 am). There are a few free parking places behind the hotel; however, we used their large parking garage (8 eur/day). It fits our long rental minibus. There are also EV chargers. You can access it with the keycard. You don't have to clean the room. Take out your rubbish and start the dishwasher, and off you go. Convenient. Tip: Free public transportation is included in the tourist tax. Download the Zell-am-See Kaprun app and register with the same email address as used when reserving your room, and you can use public transportation for free in the whole Salzburg area, including days of arrival/departure. The tickets don't appear in the wallet immediately; they appear within a few minutes. Be patient.

Beautiful and comfortable appartment. The location was great. Parking available. Walking distance from super market. The kids loved the little outdoor place we had. I would go back for sure.

We felt we had to force the guy at the front desk to call a restaurant for us because we didn’t have a phone to do it ourselves. He did it in the end but was not pleased. I know It was a last minute booking on December 24 but still.

Great Location but Limited Services for Families

We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment at Alpenparks, and I have to say the location is truly fantastic. It is within very close proximity to restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, bus stops, ski schools, Bründl Sports rental shops, and the Kaprun chairlifts — everything you need to make your skiing trip smooth and enjoyable. The apartment itself is spacious and suitable for families, giving us enough room to stay together comfortably. Having a kitchenette was also useful, especially when traveling with kids, as it allowed us to prepare meals at home whenever needed.

It’s important to clarify that Alpenparks operates both a hotel side and an apartment side. Since we stayed in the apartment building, our experience reflected that model. From the moment we checked in, there was no bell desk or staff support available to help us with our luggage — which is quite challenging for a family of five. We also noticed that the reception closes at 6 PM, and staff often leave earlier, there is remote assistance via phone afterwards if you needed anything. Another major downside for us was the lack of cleaning services. For families staying several nights, basic housekeeping — even every other day — would have made a big difference. However, the property only offers cleaning for stays of 7 nights or more, which wasn’t clearly highlighted at the time of booking. The beds were not very comfortable, and the blankets provided were single-size, which didn’t make the sleeping experience ideal. These small details added up over the stay. On the city front, travelers have to keep in mind that the city shuts down early (around 6 PM) so you will have to stock up or prepare early in the day or you risk not finding basic services (supermarkets, restaurants, cafes) late into the night. Overall, I understand that Kaprun accommodations often involve a trade-off between space and full hotel-style services. For shorter stays or for travelers who don’t rely on daily housekeeping or reception assistance, these compromises might be acceptable. But for families staying multiple nights, these limitations are important to keep in mind.

Just amazing , nature at your door steps

Brand new accommodation with fully equipped apartments, luxurious rooms and amazing views. Close to the city of Salzburg but far enough to feel quietness of the natural surroundings. Amazing host with great attention to details, very responsive and respectful answering all queries asap. I specifically liked that it’s near all the amazing lakes and villages

I ask for a room with river view but i didn’t have it . They did not get the summer card . They confirm to me by email 📧 that will be offer once I arrived they said no. There is a smell in the apart temperature was not good

Great for families and the location can't be beaten.

Location was superb. They're quite modern apartments and we liked the fact you could have three double bedrooms in one apartment. WiFi was decent and we had a little balcony which was nice to sit on after a long day skiing.

The kitchen is a bit basic. It looks the part but quite quickly we found they didn't have the key utensils such as a wooden spoon or an oven dish. The dishwasher also started leaking on day #1 which we assume was because it hadn't been cleaned properly. The staff did fix as many issues as they could.

It was a good choice for me and my family.

The apartment was so nice, modern and well equipped. It located in the city center, close to the shops. The view from the living room was so good. The restaurant which belongs to the apartment offers good quality dishes.

I can only mention one thing, what I didn't like in the apartment: the pillows were so high, not too comfortable.
