Such a warm family feel to this hotel. The hotel had everything needed for a 3 night stay. Always high standards of customer service & Anna can’t do enough for you.
The sun loungers are the only thing I’d change about this hotel. They’re very uncomfortable with no cushion or support.

What a find! Staff, ambiance, appearance, amenities and cleanliness were exceptional. A picturesque old-school Albergo with contemporary interior, on a hillside with gorgeous lake views. An absolute gem.
A little isolated in terms of amenities; you need a car, or bike at least. And that hill is steep! Google Maps will also (unnecessarily) bring you up a very narrow stonewalled laneway. There are better alternatives!

+ Room was comfortable and wonderfully peaceful with lake view from the small balcony
+ The old architecture was preserved amidst modern facilities
+ Courtyard was a pleasant afternoon sun-trap
+ Anna was an excellent hostess - always attentive
+ Martha, student working as a waitress, was absolutely delightful and attentive
+ Food was excellent and well priced
+ Excellent wine list and good quality local wines by the glass
+ Private car parking
- Shower has nowhere to put toiletries. As other reviews, it simply needs a shelf
- Glass tumblers needed in the rooms - not cardboard or plastic
- No tea or coffee making facility in the room
- Fridge non-functioning

good and clean room, breakfast was ok, although not very big, but it is not high season so it is understandable; staff was very good, so it's a nice little place to stay.
everything was ok, our room was a bit cold in the morning but nothing wrong

The views from our balcony were like looking out over the Italy you imagine. Red tile roofs and church bell towers. Lake Iseo down below. Perfect.
Possibly a little lacking in simple things like shelves for toiletries in the shower and no fridge in the room.

The dinner in the restaurant was delicious, the best dinner we had during our holiday. The pool area and view was beautiful. Anna gave us great information for sightseeing and local area. Our flight was delayed and Mauro stayed up late to open gate and allow us to check in, which was much appreciated. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful
No complaints. Lovely place, would stay again

The view from my room was incredible.
The hotel was definitely designed and built in a different era so people will not be disappointed if they know this ahead of time.

An outstanding family run authentic Italian hotel with excellent restaurant, beautiful setting & a pool. Anna & Mauro, the brother & sister team, who run the hotel are lovely kind people!
The hotel is right on the Strada Antica Valeriana - a wonderful trail running mid-level above Lago d'Iseo on the west side. Higher level hikes are immediately accessible.
For a couple like us, who enjoy hiking, Albergo Orazio is ideal!

Great view!
Personally for us the beds are a little too hard.

The view from the balcony was really top-notch. And we liked the bed - I think it was the most comfortable bed, what we had across all 4 stays we had during our trip. We arrived quite late at the hotel, but the personnel allowed us to have some late dinner despite that in the restaurant. Also the breakfast was quite good.
The room probably was part of a bigger flat previously. So there was the door (of course closed one) to the neighbor's room... a bit strange feeling. The noise isolation was very bad. We could hear quite well what was going on in the next room. The bathroom was a bit strange - toilet and shower in one combined section. And the toilet even for my not small height too high and of a very strange shape. The balcony was separated by small fencing, so again no privacy on the balcony. Also, be careful with the navigation - if you are coming from the town side by car, then 2 out of 3 roads leading to the hotel are quite narrow - 2-3 cm from the mirrors if you have unfoldable mirrors on the car.

I stayed at Albergo Ristorante Orazio for 1 night in Aug 2021. Check in was a breeze, Anna spoke perfect English, checked me in and gave me directions to the port to get on the ferry. After a day on the ferry checking out the towns along the lake, I returned to the hotel. Parking was a little rough, but the hotel worked with me to allow me to park inside the walls near the front door. Their restaurant was packed! Really a hot spot for locals. I had a couple of drinks at the bar which were conveniently billed directly to my room. My room had a great balcony with a phenomenal view of the lake. I enjoyed a bottle of wine on the balcony and watched the sunset. Room was a good size and bathroom was very large. Breakfast was ok, lots of people at the hotel, so they ran out of food about an hour before it ended. Overall, excellent hotel with beautiful views, I would stay again!
Parking was a little difficult. But hotel staff was accommodating in assisting with finding a spot. I would have loved to try the restaurant, but they were so packed I didn't even try it :/

Fantastic experience! Very cosy, convenient! The lake views from the room were astonishing. The hotel has convenient parking. The breakfast was great (fresh brioches were amazing). Rooms are clean and convenient. Take a room with a balcony and lake view - you will not regret!

A beautiful historical property. Free limited parking in a small courtyard. Easy check in, Angela spoke very good English. Small elevator to access upper floors. We reserved a Superior Room with Lake view. Huge room with large ensuite bathroom and huge jet bathtub. Two patio doors to private balcony and great view over the town and to the lake, table and chairs on patio. Kettle in room with selection of tea and instant coffee and complimentary bottle of water. Small bar fridge. Lots of wardrobe space. We had dinner at the property first night, food delicious! Homemade ravioli filled with pumpkin yummy! Breakfast buffet typical average Italian offering of meats, cheeses, hard boiled eggs, bread, pastries, yogurt and fruit. Eating areas inside the historic building or in the courtyard. A nice bar for drinks in the courtyard. Excellent wifi throughout property. This is a historic property operated by the Orazio family, now the 4th generation is there to help you. The property is at the top of the town with great views across the lake to Monte Isola.

Close to trains and ferries so very good location. A little uphill from the lake but this was ok for us. We had the superior room which had the bonus of a spa bath and a fantastic view of the lake and monte isola. Food was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast also good. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
